I couldn’t believe the amount of accessories jam packed in this little box, it definitely has that “wow” moment, and I’m an adult! I’m expecting an even more excited reaction from my kid. She keeps asking to learn how to sew, and this seems like a good start. The cons: - Most kids won’t be able to do this craft unsupervised, so make sure you have time to sit down and play together or it can be overwhelming. - I haven’t tried yet, but I suspect that the scissor won’t be able to cut most of the fabrics. Better have a good one available. - Don’t expect great quality fabric, but they are cute and abundant, and kids won’t notice. So there is that. - The box was a bit damaged (picture). The good stuff: - There are almost infinite possibilities with this kit, very cute combinations for every possible style. Goth Barbie? Check! Frozen princess? Check! Eras tour costume? Check! Hulk shredded shirt? Check! Seriously, there are so many pieces that the only challenge is where to start. - There are some tutorials on YouTube on how to use kits like this, I recommend to use them as a visual guide/inspiration. - I’m truly excited about this and it will be a perfect parent/kid rain day activity. - great for kids 7+ (and adults too, who am I kidding?) I would buy again!

I think the idea is to design outfits on the mannequins, which would have mostly been doable for my 5-year-old (I like the little "pokers" to attach the fabric to the grips).
Really fun for future fashion designers ...lots of work for mum!

However, my daughter was only interested in making clothes that her Barbies could wear, so long story short, I'm now a full-time seamstress, lol
I'm not much of a sewer so I would have appreciated more detailed instructions and patterns.

I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas. I was looking for something that would help her develop a new skill and interest. Well she loved it. We spent a whole afternoon making dresses and preparing a fashion show. Heck I even enjoyed it myself. The box has so much material and extras to choose from. It was the perfect gift. 💕
