Bricks click together fine, some are looser than others and the instructions are SIMILAR but not the same as how lego would lay out their own!

A great alternative that would be significantly more expensive if it had the Lego brand on it!

It isn't our first Fun Whole building set but this one is good for garbage. If I could put no star at all I would.

Some parts are not fitting correctly and fall off all the time, like the passenger side headlight, the car wings and part of the hood (especially when you try to fit new parts to the camper. The electric ports are way too tight to pin in the connectors. When the light over the camper sink was plugged in, all the other lights went off. Unplugging the sink light restored the other lights. The connector of the headlights broke off because no matter how well it was lined up with the port, it just wouldn't clip in. It was too tight.

This camper was too frustrating to build and trying to build it used our patience. Not one of their best block kit. We put it aside and started building the Antiques Store.

Too bad the window for returning this kit was closed because I would have gladly returned it.

March 31, 2025.

I did contact Fun Whole Customer Service and they sent me spare kits of lights and sheet of stickers to replace the faulty ones. I will try to complete building the camper when I will feel very,very, very ZEN!
Thank you for the spare parts.

I have around 20 sets from the big famous block company (not sure if I can mention in this review). I’ve done other companies’ sets before, but this is my first Funwhole set.

Overall, this is a 4.5 star set for me. The quality is absolutely equal to “L” brand pieces. Nothing felt cheap or wobbly. I think the finished set is absolutely gorgeous, and I loooove how good the van looks with the lights. The attention to detail and all of the little features inside the camper (fridge, sink with “water,” books, curtains, cookware) are way adorable.

My two cons are: at a few points, the instruction photos are not quite as thorough or clear as I would like- but nothing that messed up the build, I just had to flip back and forth between pages to understand what they were showing.

The biggest con for me was also a pro- the lights. Such a cool feature, and they all worked and looked amazing. That being said, these things (the wires and connectors) are SMALL so if you have big hands or clumsy fingers, you may need to get help. They do provide tweezers which is nice though I didn’t find them too helpful. It was just a struggle for me to get the connectors to plug in, as well as to deal with the cable management. I do these sets as a relaxing hobby so the wire part took a little wind out of my sails. That being said, the finished product is amazing and I’m overall very happy with the display, so I’d recommend this set and brand to anyone who is branching out from the big L company and looking for more options!
