Classic American Motel: This set is inspired by a vintage roadside motel along California's highways, featuring a first-floor check-in and bar area, a second-floor with two suites and a small balcony. The fully detachable three-story structure allows for easy play and displays retro American design from every angle.
Detailed vintage vehicles: The set includes a red vintage Chevrolet convertible with an independent power system, featuring four headlights that light up when detached from the motel. Also included is a retro motorcycle, perfect for motel guests to enjoy their road trip in style.
Exquisite Interior Details: The bar features a vintage American jukebox and pool table, both easily detachable for separate display. A glowing liquor cabinet, retro television, and palm trees highlight the unique era style, enhancing the motel's nostalgic road trip charm.
Innovative craftsmanship: The glowing sign features a special technique that cleverly displays retro neon lightbox effects. The set includes 35 printed pieces and 30 silver-sprayed parts. The car headlights can be customized with two lighting effects, and two yellow circular blocks are included to switch the headlights from white to yellow.
Vintage Neon Lights: The Car Department Building Set includes 7 light strings with 22 custom spots, recreating the colorful neon signs of the past century. Flashing and fading lights create a lively bar atmosphere, while neon strips on the second floor bring a psychedelic motel effect reminiscent of twilight road trips.

Wow this thing is crazy! Easy to build with lights included. Looks great. Not a fan of the funwhole minifigs but thats just me. This thing lights up beautifuly!(sp) the only issue i had was the tall lit sign on the side is not very sound. Doesnt have enough connection points to the building. Since its for my lego city and i dont play with it, i just put a few drops of superglue in a few places and its rock solid. Overall i give it a 5 out of 5.

Out of 18 Funwhole sets built so far, this is by far the best. It goes together quickly (I did it in a day - a full day mind you), all the lights work and it has some colors other than brown (a problem with most fun whole sets - think "Log cabin" or "medieval" - everything is brown). The car has its own little battery (the watch battery kind) and the building is powered separately. Also importantly, there were no silly stickers to put on the pieces (jars, boxes etc), everything came ready to build. I was missing a couple of pieces which is always disappointing. They have a great infrastructure for reporting/ordering replacement pieces, but they fall down on execution and getting the pieces actually delivered. Its been a month now and I'm still waiting for pieces for this (and other sets) that are holding up building.

Fantastic set, that was a thorough joy to build. The model has wonderful detail, and was easy to put together. The lighting is great, and - as with all Funwhole builds now - the wires are very well hidden.
All in all, well worth the money, and a great centrepiece (or compliment to other Funwhole sets).

The only chink in the armour are the minifigs. I'm not a fan, but they seem to be a bit of a marmite point with some loving them. I'm not in that camp, and purchased some 'official' minifigs, which scale perfectly to the FW builds.

5 stars, even if the minifigs are meh. I doubt i'll ever go back to 'official' bricks now.

FunWhole knocks it out of the park again with this fun 'Americana' Motel! FunWhole has been doing a fantastic job filling in the blacks that Lego has left wide open with super fun themes, and this Motel is an absolute gem! Printed pieces, a fun design with innovative building techniques, an included light kit, and half the price of a Lego model with a similar piece count. Important to mention - the bricks are 'gobricks' which are 100% comparable to lego brinks in quality, color, and 'clutch power', and the included manuals are actually better than Lego. My only suggestion is that for lighting installation, look a couple of pages ahead to see how everything fits together as it will help lessen any confusion (lighting kits that are actually integrated into the build are unique to FunWhole, leaving some long time Lego collectors a little confused).
