Car Blade Fuse Replacement Steps:
1. Disconnect Power Source.
2. Check the fuse boxes.
3. Find and remove the blown fuse.
4. Select a same size, a same amperage of the fuse to replace it.
5. Install fuse holder with the newly added fuse installed, back into the fuse block.
6. Reconnect power source, Turn on Ignition to test new accessory for proper operation.
7. If the accessory does not operate, turn the fuse holder 180 degrees and reinsert into the fuse block. Retest again.

the width of the fuse is almost 11mm, the width of the fuse tape is almost 12mm. You have to file .5mm of the black plastic that extends past the metal blades on each side of the fuse tap for it to be fit into the fuse receptacle. The fuse tap's blades are also a little shorter than the actual blades of the fuse. Therefore the fuse tap will go into the receptacle and appear to fit, but when you push down on the fuse tap it won't seat properly into the receptacle and it will pop out easily. This may not be an issue with other vehicles, but if the fuse tap doesn't set properly in the fuse box. just make a few measurement, it will save you from wasting your time trying all the fuse taps in different receptacle to see if they will fit.
