- Reviewed in Canada on September 15, 2020Verified PurchaseThey work well. Just expensive for 108 exposures.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 10, 2022This isn't pro film so it shouldn't cost you $20 a roll. If in Canada, check stores such as London Drugs or Shoppers Drugmart. A three pack is around $30. I get it from a local camera store, called the Camera Store, for that price as well. For $20 a roll you can buy progessional Kodak Ektar 100 or Kodak Portra 400 - both are beautiful films. And don't worry about the expiry date on the Fujifilm. . It's amateur film so it has great longevity.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 9, 2024Verified PurchaseYou will receive standard Fuji 400 made in USA. Not Superior extra 400. Superior was discontinued and is becoming more scarce. Wish I¡¯d read reviews closer.

5.0 out of 5 stars 35mm Film ¨C Nostalgic, Authentic, and Timeless
Verified PurchaseQuality: 5/5
35mm film offers a unique, grainy texture that digital photography just can¡¯t replicate. The quality of the images is beautifully raw, with a certain warmth and depth to colors that give them a nostalgic feel. Whether you're shooting landscapes, portraits, or street scenes, the film captures moments with a sense of authenticity. The grain can vary depending on the film stock, but it¡¯s generally pleasing and adds character to every shot.
Ease of Use: 4/5
For those accustomed to digital photography, shooting with 35mm film can feel a bit old-school. Loading the film and taking careful shots requires more patience since there¡¯s no instant preview. But that¡¯s part of the charm! It encourages thoughtful composition and makes every shot count. The main downside is the cost of developing the film, and the wait to see your results.
Cost: 4/5
35mm film isn't the cheapest option around, especially once you factor in the cost of processing. However, the experience and the resulting photos are well worth the price. For people who enjoy photography as an art form or hobby, it¡¯s an investment that brings tremendous satisfaction.
Results: 5/5
The final images are absolutely stunning. The colors are rich and vivid, and the depth of field is often enhanced by the natural bokeh and grain. Film photography has an organic look that digital photos can struggle to match. It¡¯s perfect for those who love the tactile process and the unpredictability of film.
Overall: 4.5/5
35mm film is a fantastic medium for anyone who appreciates the classic, analog feel of photography. While it might take a bit more effort and money than digital photography, the results are truly rewarding. Whether you¡¯re a seasoned film enthusiast or a beginner looking to explore a new form of photography, 35mm film offers a nostalgic experience that digital cameras simply can¡¯t replicate. Highly recommended for those who love the artistic side of photography!
