I’ve tried many drone cases, including several hard shell ones, and this bag is my favourite and also the most versatile. It can accommodate different types of drones and their gear with ample storage for accessories. It’s a more compact size than most as well.
I have both a DJI Neo and a Mini 4 Pro, and this bag can hold either of them and their accessories with no issues. The interior features nice soft padding and an adjustable divider. The different compartment sizes work perfectly for both drone setups. The Neo fits great in the front compartment with the remote sideways in the compartment behind it. The side compartment holds the batteries/charger, cables, and power adapter. That still leaves you a small compartment for other accessories, and you have the pocket in the lid as well as the zippered rear pocket on the outside, and open pockets on the front and sides. There’s a lot of handy storage spaces here.
For the Mini 4 Pro, the placement of the pieces gets rearranged but still holds everything equally as well. The larger remote fits horizontally in the front compartment, the folded drone fits perfectly in the side compartment, and the rear compartment holds the battery dock/cables/adapters. It’s perfect for either of these 2 drones with everything having a great fit without having to re-adjust the divider…just the placement of the components differs as I swap setups.
The case itself is fairly compact for what it holds, especially compared to many of the hard shell cases out there. The exterior is a waterproof material, and the lid flap is nice as well as it covers the zippered case opening below for a little increased protection and has a buckle to hold it down securely. You have both a handle and a shoulder strap for carrying the bag. The one nitpick I have with the case is that the shoulder strap is sewn-in and not removable. I usually just fold it up and tuck it in the rear pocket to keep it out of the way as I mainly use the handle for carrying instead.
The problem with most hard-shell cases is that they usually have foam cutouts that are very specific for the intended hardware pieces and lack versatility. A lot of space is wasted with the foam in between. They usually don't do well for multiple setups/drones, different controllers, and accessory storage is usually limited/specific or doesn’t accommodate random items well. This bag offers a ton more versatility and more storage pockets for various setups and accessories.
If you need a highly watertight case or strong crush-resistance, then you may want to look at another hard-shell, etc., case, but otherwise, this bag offers great versatility and storage for smaller drones and their gear.
