    Had mine 2 months, used it twice, then no power, thought maybe the firmware needed update but when plugged in to the computer gave a short error and said device required more power than port could supply, RY8310 30V 1A 1.4MHz synchronous buck regulator is a known issue with these, found several when I googled no power. I could open it up and try to fix but it's only 2 months old, I loved it when it was working. Tried contacting the company but since I bought it on 鶹 doubtful of warranty, They say they only warranty ones bought on their site. Hence the 1 star for the amazon product, it's $125 in scrap at this point. If you want one buy it from their site and then if it does have an issue at least they will cover it.

    As someone pretty new to soldering, I found the FNIRSI HS-02A to be a great entry-level tool. It heats up quickly, and the digital display makes it easy to see and adjust the temperature. The three pre-set temperature settings are a lifesaver—I didn’t have to constantly guess what temperature I should be using for different projects.

    The iron is lightweight and feels comfortable to hold, which helped a lot with my control as I practiced. It also comes with several tips, which made experimenting with different types of joints and tasks easy.

    The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instruction manual could be a little more beginner-friendly. I had to look up a few things online to understand how to set the presets and change tips properly. Once I figured it out, though, everything worked smoothly.

    Highly recommended if you’re just getting into electronics repair or DIY soldering!

    Everything works great so far.

    My old iron was a basic Weller, so this is a really nice upgrade for me. I don't solder very often, so I can't justify buying a dedicated soldering station.

    The iron heats up super quick. Just a few seconds versus several minutes with my old iron.

    It's comfortable hold and work with. The grip is fairly close to the tip of the iron, so it's not nearly as fiddly to work with as basic irons.

    The included USB power supply has worked perfectly.

    The USB cable is a nice silicone one, so it's not stiff at all. You're not fighting it and it doesn't get in the way.

    All of the included tips worked well in my testing. I really like that it came with a decent assortment.

    The included storage case is really nice. I only wish it had room for the power supply as well.

    I didn't care for the animation where the numbers rolled over when heating up, but if you update the firmware there's an option to disable that.

    Overall, very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy it again.
