Récemment, j’ai testé la radio d’auto Android 13 compatible avec Subaru Forester WRX Impreza STi 2016 2017 2018 avec CarPlay et Android Auto de la compagnie Fbinse. Le produit fonctionne sous Android 13. Il possède un écran de 9 pouces de dimension avec support pour le GPS, radio FM, Bluetooth, le Wifi et avec une mémoire de 2 gigaoctets et une capacité de stockage de 64 gigaoctets. C’est un excellent remplacement pour votre ancienne radio FM et CD. L’appareil intègre la technologie CarPlay et Android d’auto. Vous pouvez même brancher une caméra de recul au besoin.     I was looking for a way to upgrade my Forester with an Android Auto unit since I really like having a separate GPS instead of relying on my small phone screen. I got this Android 13 Head Unit for the bigger display, wireless Android Auto, and to modernize my car’s tech.

    Pros
    - 9-inch touchscreen is vibrant, responsive, and much bigger than the factory radio-makes navigation and media control much easier.
    - Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto work seamlessly, allowing for hands-free calls, navigation, music, and app use without cables.
    - Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play design; all connectors fit existing Subaru wiring, and the fit/finish looks nearly OEM.
    - Built-in GPS is accurate and works well even offline, so you don’t have to rely on your phone’s signal.
    - Backup camera included, with good quality and wide-angle view for safer reversing, even at night.
    - Compatible with steering wheel controls and factory audio systems, including Harman Kardon, for a fully integrated feel.
    - Bluetooth, WiFi, and FM radio all function reliably, and sound quality is noticeably improved with more EQ options.
    - Ample storage (2GB RAM + 64GB ROM) for apps, music, and smooth performance.
    - Looks clean and modern in the dash, making the car feel new again.

    Cons
    - Installation may be tricky if you are not familiar with car electronics. Watching YouTube videos or getting professional help is recommended

    Pros

    Super clean 9 inch touch screen that looks great and responds smoothly.
    Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto work really well without cords.
    Sound quality is noticeably better than the stock unit.
    GPS and Bluetooth connect fast with no issues.
    Easy to install if you have a Forester, WRX, Impreza or STi from 2016 to 2018
    Backup camera integration works like a charm.
    Lots of storage and runs apps without lag.
    WiFi lets me stream or update apps on the fly.

    Cons

    Not compatible with Outback or Crosstrek models which is a bummer
    Instructions could be a bit clearer especially for first timers
    Requires extra trim tools to avoid damaging anything during install.

    Did not work for 2017 wrx, no camera, swc were all messed up and woudlnt program, mic didnt work, i ended up returning it and got a refund! Then i bought an idoing unit, hope this one is gonna work

    I installed this in my 2017 Forester last weekend to replace the factory radio. The install took me about 2 hours because I'm not very mechanical, but the instructions were clear enough. All the plugs matched up with my car connections which was a relief since I worried about compatibility.
    The wireless CarPlay works good with my phone - connects automatic when I start the car. The screen is responsive and much bigger than the original radio. Backup camera quality is decent but not amazing in low light. System boots up fast and hasn't frozen up on me yet. The GPS works better than I expected too. For the price, this is a big improvement over what came with the car and gives me modern features I was missing.

    My car is a 2016 Subaru WRX which has had the stock radio in since the beginning. Pre 2018 (I think) models did not come with CarPlay so I always used Bluetooth from my phone to play music. I ended up getting a separate screen for a while to get CarPlay which works well but did not fit the car perfectly. This head unit replacement lets me use Apple CarPlay (and so much more!) without any extra screens or devices, it simply just works and looks integrated into the car perfectly.

    Installation is somewhat involved for someone like me with next to no experience doing this stuff but I watched a some online videos to make sure I understood exactly how the stock radio comes apart. Luckily there is a very popular head unit replacement (very similar to this one) for the 2015-2021 WRX so there are lots of videos out there. One of my main concerns was if my built in factory reverse camera would work, this includes a camera but I did not want to run another cable and install a secondary camera. I am happy to say that my built in camera works with this head unit, it comes on when put in reverse like before. Just make sure to plug in the yellow video cable from the one harness to the other harness and you should be good to go. Wtih that being said I cannot speak the the quality of the provided camera as I did not end up using it.

    The head unit runs Andorid 13 as its main operating system, this is really great as it essentially turns the car radio into a large tablet. It includes the play store so you can install pretty much any app you would for an Android tablet or phone (Netflix, Spotify, 鶹 Prime, games, etc.). It comes with Chrome and Youtube already installed as well. To use on the go I simply connect to my phone's hotspot. I also did test out, you can easily hook up a mouse/keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) for easier navigation and text input, I was also able to hook up a Bluetooth game controller to play games (while parked obviously). There is also an app called zlink (preinstalled), this is what is used to connect to CarPlay (I believe Andorid Auto as well, have not tried), it works very well and is wireless. This is what I use 90% of the time when driving. You can also easily connect to your phone with just Bluetooth to play music that way or add a flash drive preloaded with music to one of the USB ports.

    Sound wise, I have the Harman Kardon sound system in my car, this integrates with it perfectly fine and provides good sound quality. I am not an audiophile or anything but I find the sound has a bit more of a punch than before, this is great when I listen to EDM or other music with lots of base. It also includes a much more advanced EQ and sound settings than the stock radio.

    This would be an easy 5 star for me except for one issue that is a bit of a big deal for me, I cannot get the steering wheels button to work properly. They are hooked up to the radio as the buttons are mapped and do stuff but they are not mapped properly (back button is volume up for example). I tried following around the provided video instruction, tried the different settings and options but nothing seems to work. If I figure it out I will update my review. Also the provided manual is very minimal, I ended up having to do a fair bit of my own research to know exactly how to set it up and use it.

    Overall I am very happy with this new head unit, the look and fit is pretty much perfect, it provides wireless CarPlay as well as a full Android OS, the screen is responsive, bright, and crisp, and the sound is a little more punchy with more in depth options for sound tweaking. This is a huge upgrade from my stock radio and at a pretty reasonable price.
