Nice CarPlay/Android auto adapter with youtube capabilities

The media could not be loaded.

It was interesting to find this box on amazon. First thing that got my attention was that in the picture it had Youtube and Netflix featured. My thought was - Yes, I can have my kids watching youtube on the long drives.
I placed the order around 10 AM and it arrived by 6PM which was great. The installation process proved to be easy. you simply connect it to the car and it uses the display for interaction and connection to the phone. Once CarPlay from ny phone is connected wirelessly the display is exactly as when I connect it with the cable on the car infotainment. Usage of CarPlay feature is a breeze. no difference to the moment when the phone is connected with a wire to the car. I don't see any delays, freezes or anything like that. My normal usage is with spotify playing stuff and Waze assisting with directions.
As I mentioned at the beginning, it features Youtube so I wanted to see how can I use this feature. While being in CarPlay mode, you can touch the screen on the left up corner and that brings you to a menu where you can switch either to the standard car infotainment or the main screen of this device from where you can open youtube. To use Youtube you need the device to be connected to internet which I do it using the hotspot function of my phone.
The Youtube stream is no difference from the phone, flowless but in this case it runs on a higher screen that the car has and it is easy visible for the back seat passengers so it suits my needs smoothly.
It has an option to upgrade the youtube app which is great. I don't know if the upgraded version is the last official one from Youtube.
Yet I don't know if you can install other android apps to it as there's no playstore available.
I would also have an improvement suggestion if anyone from producer is reading this review and that will be to pair the device with a wireless charger somehow and that is because the hotspot is high drainage of battery and you'll need to charge the phone also ... Once you connect the phone it is lottery which of the carplays is used (phone or this device).
This is my first impression/review and I might update it as the time passes.

- Gave me the safety warning (Don’t use while driving) & went to home screen, see pics
- From there I was able to play around with the many features

Simple Setup – Pairing
- Followed instructions & easily paired with my apple device, though pairing code didn’t show on media screen
- Once paired was able to go in and set up my choice of internet and / or Bluetooth connectivity on the screen
- Unit will even sync your contacts & favourites from your phone

Many Options:
- From there I just worked through the items to play around and see what it could do
- You can personalize the homepage, wallpaper etc.
- You can add a memory card stocked full of your favorite music, audio books or just play off your device
- You can watch video, though I don’t see doing that while driving 😊
- You can store document files, search YouTube, watch Netflix

What I liked:
- The memory card is a nice touch for when I am driving in the mountains with no cell or radio signal
- The device is very small and takes up very little space
- You can connect via USB or USB C
- It has tons of options if you have internet
- Handles apple and android

The only thing I think could be improved
- It got a little warm while using, so you will want to make sure it has airflow
