This EZCOO HDMI 2.1 Switch with 4K120Hz and eARC extractor is surely the best addition to my Video, Gaming and Audio set up in years.
The HDMI Switch function of this device can handle 4 HDMI inputs and output of one HDMI and the isolated HDMI ARC audio + optical SPDIF output and even a 3.5mm headphone output jack. This allows for up to four HDMI devices to be routed through this switcher with only the use of a single HDMI port on the main viewing TV/Monitor and the ARC soundbar for audio.
I have a TV in the family room that has a limited number of HDMI ports available and more devices that need to be set up. I've used the four ports on this unit to a single HDMI output to the OLED TV. One HDMI for my Chrome Cast - a second HDMI port for my older PS3, which I still enjoy the vintage aspect of the games. Another HDMI port allows me connect a DVD player that we still find use for and the last HDMI port for the video input for my home laptop or any other device I need to display.
The switcher comes with an USB-C port to allow for any future firmware updates or customized configurations. It is clear that this device has been well thought out in its design and feels solid and well made with an attention to detail. A remote is included as well that allows you to choose between the 4 inputs. There is an SPDIF optical out for audio which I intend to set up to send through my component stereo system, plus there is a L/R audio output (3.5mm) for headphones for gameplay.
Overall, this is a high-quality device worth the price point. With the included remote to shift between inputs, a DC adapter for power (not a USB-C) and a multitude of configurations for inputs depending on your needs. Plus, this tool has EDID copy capabilities to accommodate challenging video configurations across the devices. I'm very happy using the switch for some of my older tech items in my home office but could easily see myself repurposing it when my A/V configuration changes down the road. This unit will have the versatility to be useful for years to come.
