Bought this to put in my new Mazda but am not impressed. It skips like an early 1980s model every time you go over a bump. I cannot believe this product in such a modern age doesn’t have a decent 10-20 second buffer to prevent skips. Other than that, it plays fine on smooth roads and the build quality of the case is nice and solid.
My new vehicle doesn't have a CD player and I have a huge collection of CDs which I'm not about to transfer to any other medium. I also bought a little floor/seat organizer and it fits right in the side pocket. You do have a cord to contend with, but I'm okay with that. I usually have it on the seat, but if I have a passenger then it can go on the floor at their feet. There is enough room in my vehicle. It hasn't skipped once and I've driven in all conditions on all kinds of surfaces with it playing.
