Overall this range extender is simple, very compact, and works well in larger homes. It effectively boosts wifi signals to areas where signals are weak, and the connection speeds are fast, as advertised.

The setup process took a while despite the fact that the included instructions are very clear and simple. When initially trying to connect it to my wifi network, it didn't work automatically so I had to manually enter the specified URL on my Android phone (192.168.10.253). The connection to that URL kept timing out, but after repeated attempts (like for almost an hour) I was able to connect to the interface and set up an alternative wifi access point. I'm not sure if it made a difference, but I was able to connect to it when I started trying to connect via two devices at once (a smartphone and tablet).

Once you connect to the interface the process for setting up a new access point is extremely simple and clear. And once you connect to the interface for the first time, connecting again is fast and easy. Once it's set up you can unplug the extender and move it around to different areas of your home and it will reconnect to the router automatically. So overall I'm satisfied with the unit but wish the setup was a bit more seamless.

This was really easy to set up. IT basically set itself up. Unfortunately mt phone kep telling me that the security type was not sufficient and that I should change the security settings. There were no settings available to change. So Im a little reluctant to use it with security alerts. Also there is no Canadian electrical safety certification on the device. Electrical safety in Canada is regulated, requiring Standards Council of Canada-accredited certification. Products are certified according to provincially set standards adopted Canada wide. Certified products will display marks such as CSA, cUL, or cETL. It is a legal requirement for any product that plugs into an electrical outlet in Canada to be certified. As stated this device works great and sets up easily but there are possible security issues and also safety issues under Canadian law.
