    The wife won't let me climb ladders anymore so I decided to try this saw - Complete kit, easy to use, (although when you get it out to the 30' length it's a little bit to handle), and has a nice carrying bag - It's definitely one of my top 10 tools and I have a lot of tools - This pole saw has paid for itself many times over by not having to pay a tree trimmer dude.

    Can it trim 20+ feet up? Yep! Worked great. Can just anyone do it? That's doubtful. It's made of fiberglass, and I would say it's about as light as possible, while still being durable enough not to break on you. The clipper head is heavy, but again, as light as it can be and actually work well. Any time you're swinging a metal head on the end of a very long fiberglass, semi-flexible, lever arm, it's going to take some arm and shoulder power to make it work. If you expect it to be some kind of 30 foot magic wand, you WILL be disappointed. If you go in thinking this makes it actually *possible* to trim a branch 30 feet in the air, but not easy, you have the right attitude. For reference, I'm a pretty big 6' 1" dude, and muscling it up and muscling it back down (the harder part is avoiding wacking it to the ground) was not easy. But at least I could trim my tall trees without having to bring in pro tree trimmers.

    Heavy, unwieldy, crooked, hard to use.
    Main saw blades work well as long as you saw very, **very** slowly being careful to not induce vibrations into the long, crooked handle that tends to wobble all over the place.
    If I had known this thing was so heavy and so wobbly, I wouldn't have purchased it.
    I suggest the manufacturer rethink the number of sections **and** reduce the steel ferrule connectors to reduce weight and potential wrong angles. Also on each ferrule, remove the sharp edges so each section connector (ferrule) doesn't get caught on branches and twigs. Also, make the last connector to the saw and to the pruning lopper the SAME size as the rest of the ferrules. It is stupid to have different sizes. Lastly, slightly increase the strength of the blades so they don't bend so easily.
    But all of this is for naught if the weight isn't reduced overall.

    The product was difficult to use at 15 feet and near impossible at 30 feet. Maybe for branches 1" and under; but I was trying to prune 3-4" dead branches that needed to really be cut.

    The handle would wobble and flex all over and not provide the abilities to apply pressure to cut or hold it in one place.

    I don't have any design issues specifically, the handles assembled easily; and got tight. Light weight... maybe too lightweight.
