I have a mixed reaction to the Sportneer Mini Exercise Bike Low Resistance.
The pedal exerciser feels solid, sticks well to my hardwood floors and even works on my carpet.
Assembly was simple thanks to the good instructions.
I wished there were use guidelines included, or available from a website, but I found suggestions from other websites.
My use for this is to ‘lubricate’ my knees and hips after sitting for a while. When I stand up, my legs barely work for the first few minutes and I’m unsteady on my feet and so uncomfortable it borders on pain.
With just 5 minutes using the mini pedal bike on a very light tension, my knees are lubricated and I can get up and move around in comfort. So for my use, it works really well.
When I turn up the tension to try and raise my heart rate and/or burn calories, the pedal bike falls short. I find it doesn’t pedal smoothly and so I don’t use it for that purpose. It says in the listing title that it is low resistance but my mini-bike only pedals smoothly only on almost no tension set at all.
As a result, I’m rating this three stars. It works well for my purpose but possibly not well for a person hoping for a more strenuous workout.
