What are the prerequisites for installing Eve Dimmer Switch?
Eve Dimmer Switch requires a neutral wire and replaces a single-pole switch. Only for use with copper or copper-clad wire in dry, indoor locations. Light sources (e.g. light bulbs) must be dimmable.
Eve Dimmer Switch is a Full Thread Device (FTD) – but what does that mean?
Mains-powered Full Thread Devices (or FTDs) that are always on can act as routers within your Thread network and relay data packets. The more of these FTDs you have in your network, the more stable & greater its reach becomes.
