The straws are slightly too long but can easily be adjusted by snipping off the top 2 inches, of the straw. I do appreciate that they are individually wrapped, and wide enough for frozen drinks. For anyone who has tried to drink a smoothie or milkshake with a paper straw that collapsed on them, knows what I'm talking about.

    Research has shown that the new cardboard straws businesses were forced to change to are far worse than they thought.
    I love going through drive through and saying no straws thanks.

    No more paper-tasting drinks! Great value & just like it was advertised. Paper straws are really green-washing, they introduce extremely bad chemicals into your body and they cannot be *ironically* recycled at all, whereas plastic straws like this CAN be recycled. And no, I'm not lugging around a steel straw, as it cannot be washed easily, so it's not hygenic at all. Like if I go out and buy a drink in the middle of a hot day, by the time I come home, it's going to be caked on hard, requiring a lot of effort to wash it with no guarantee that you'll get everything (look at how much toothpaste it left on your toothbrush after a week's use). So you'll waste a lot of time, water, and soap to try to clean that and you'll probably have to buy another one in just a few weeks/months, so it's not that environmentally friendly i.e. steel straws are also part of green-washing.
