Tyler Miller finally gets the diagnosis but he has no idea what it means for him. He’s starting college, going for a degree that is useless. At least, that’s what his parents say, but it’s what he loves. He just hopes he can find someone to take a chance on him.

Brandt Tetherly has his eye on the young employee at his favorite coffee shop. As a nurse for the hospital down the street, it’s Brandt’s job to see the subtle signs of someone sick. Tyler tries to hide it, but a trained eye knows what to look for.

What Brandt doesn’t expect is to find that Tyler is a Little. Brandt learns quickly about the world of Daddies and Littles. He cares for people, makes sure they’re taking care of themselves. It’s not much different, right? The only problem is that Tyler doesn’t think he could be a Daddy.

Can they agree on something that will work for both of them or will it end before it starts? A handful of nights together is not enough for Brandt and he just hopes that Tyler will let him in enough to show him he’s more than ‘the sick kid’.

    This is the third and final book in the Shade Grown Coffee Boys series. Each book is a standalone read but you should really read them in order to get the most out of it. This is the story of Tyler Miller and Brandt Tetherly. Tyler and Brandt know each other from the coffee shop where Tyler works. Tyler has been getting sicker and weaker and collapses at work. The only upside is that Tyler finally finds out what is wrong with him. He has a chronic disease that he will have to take care of for the rest of his life. The other upside is that Brandt was his nurse at the hospital. The two slowly begin to get to know each other. As Tyler's last relationship was ended by his partner, Tyler decides to lay all his cards on the table. Right at the very beginning he explains to Brandt that he is a little and he is into that lifestyle. As it is all new to Brandt, he keeps an open mind. The more he learns, the more he becomes certain that he is a Daddy. So the two newbies decide to get together and start a relationship. The best part about that was that as they are both new, they can make up rules that work for just the two of them. This is their story. The book is well written and easy to read. The disease that Tyler has is seamlessly woven into the story. And of course someone as sweet as Tyler would want to be a good boy and not a bratty one. Brandt's medical training allows him to help Tyler and it lets him let his protective side out. A strong finish to this wonderful series.

    I absolutely loved this story. This is the last book in this series and while you could read it as a stand-alone it’s much better read in order. I adored these two together. They were so sweet and perfect together. This was such a wonderful story.

    This dealt with a heavy topic, chronic illness but not in a heavy handed manner.
    Tyler and Brandt knew each other from Tyler's job as a barrista and meet again in the hospital where Brandt is a nurse.
    I loved that they were both new to kink and took their time learning and exploring.
    Daddy Doctor was very cute and the found family aspect was wonderful.

    Poor Tyler cannot catch a break until a heath crisis helps him find love. This cute story will have to laughing and feeling all the love. It is the finial book in the Shade Grown Coffee Boy book. You could read it as a standalone, but it is much better enjoyed when reading in order.
