Outclassed. Outplayed. Outmatched.

After our humiliating defeat at Cyanide, Alastair left us shamed and shattered.

We lost.

But with our resources at a desperate low, new players making dangerous moves, and my brutes on the offense, I know I need to change the game. The last time I tried my hand, I made mistakes that nearly cost us everything—but I’m not the same hesitant little pawn I once was, and I’m not hiding behind my fear anymore.

This time, it’s my board.

The Sinners and the Reapers are in position.

The queen and her kings are in play.

But we need a better strategy—because if we can’t become the family Jasper always promised me we could be, then we might lose more than just our home at Bristlebrook.

We might lose our chance at forever as well . . .

***
NOTE: Entwined is book 3 of 3 in this trilogy. This trilogy is COMPLETE.

The Brutes of Bristlebrook is a dark(ish) post-apocalyptic, steamy romance trilogy, and Eden will end up with three or more love interests after I’ve appropriately obliterated my readers’ nerves. Expect complex characters, 1st person present tense, multiple POVs, queer love, angst, lots of laughs, and to encounter material that some readers may find sensitive.

This book is a big gal at over 258k words and deals with a lot of heavy content. I promise it gets brighter as it goes on (you know... mostly). Please see my website for TWs - your mental health matters.

I wrote a whole detailed review. Because I had one quote from the book amazon told me to edit. Thing is the won't let me edit the review just rewrite it. It was to much to rewrite so I am just listing key search terms. BDSM, primal play MF, MFM, MM, swords cross, male platonic bonding, apocalypse, action, mystery, dark romance, true love, dub con, angst, solder, survival, HEA, smart writing, fleshed out characters. Recommend reading series in order.

That was AWESOME. I had to go back to book 2 to remind me where we left off because this just jumps right back in. So much depth to the characters. Every one unique and damaged and saved. The dynamic between all of them was sooo good. The ending to this story had a twist that was totally unexpected. So well done.

This was my most anticipated book of the year and I’m so incredibly happy with the ending of this series. I love how everything tied together in the end, the growth of the characters and the plot twists throughout. The steam was steamy 🤭 definitely recommend and will 100% be reading this again yearly

4.5 stars! The conclusion to our Brutes trilogy was worth the wait! There are a lot of heavy topics that come up in this book, and Eden and our brutes also have a lot of growing to do. But what a wild ride! This book, like the previous ones, features some twists and turns you don’t see coming, so you are always on your toes. These characters are flawed and beautiful and strong. There are so many side characters with key roles and histories that play into this story. And of course, Becky Quinn does not disappoint with the many (varied) spicy scenes. Such a satisfying conclusion to this trilogy and worth the read. I am also excited to also pick up the audiobook when it comes out later this year. I voluntarily received an advance copy of this book, and all opinions are my own.

Rebecca Quinn is a genius! Welcome back to Bristlebrook and all the Brutes do not disappoint. This book might be a “Big” gal but, so amazing. The action is nail biting, the relationships are complicated and the spice is scorching. This book brings things together that all the other books set up. I fell in love in this post apocalyptic world in the first book and it’s been a wild satisfying journey that ends with entwined. I would give this book 10/10. Rebecca Quinn needs more cheese and wine because I am definitely a fan and can not wait for her next set of books.

I love this entire series. Since the moment I started this series I became obsessed with these characters . I was looking forward to this book forever and it did not disappoint. If you enjoy kink and revers Herman series than you need to start this one. I never wanted Entwined to end. I ate this book up.
I was so happy that I was picked to receive an advanced copy of this book because the wait was killing me but of it was worth it.

Wow, where do I even begin with this incredible book? I dove in, and by the time I hit 20%, I felt lost in its pages forever! With its impressive 969 pages, it became clear that this final installment of the series had much to unpack. I listened to the first two books on audiobook with a full cast that brought the story to life in an absolutely thrilling way! I simply couldn’t wait for the audiobook release to find out how it all ends, and let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed! However, I can't contain my excitement for the upcoming audiobook release in October! I plan to dive back into the story for a thrilling reread. This series has solidified its place as a favorite for me.

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘮𝘪𝘵 . . .𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩.”

One thing I craved more of, though, was Jaykob’s perspective. There were moments I eagerly anticipated getting into his head, but those chapters never came, leaving a few gaps for me. I wished for a bit more insight from him to fill in those gaps! But hey, I understand that with a book this long, there are limits to what can be included.

“𝘐𝘧 𝘑𝘢𝘺𝘬 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘐’𝘮 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘱.”

This being the third book in the series, I'll avoid any spoilers. The character development is phenomenal. Each character has evolved significantly, embodying the essence of a found family that an apocalyptic narrative demands. And let’s talk about Eden—she’s an absolute powerhouse! I love that she stands her ground and fearlessly owns her strength. All her men finally recognize how brilliant and strategic she is, and they’d follow her to the ends of the earth! She transforms from a frightened woman into a beacon of strength, unwavering in her determination to protect others and advocate for those who cannot stand up for themselves. She craves peace but knows that achieving it requires making gut-wrenching decisions.

“𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘦𝘯. 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥. 𝘏𝘦𝘳 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘰 𝘧**𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘪𝘱 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵.”

On a different note, let’s discuss Eden’s men. Everyone has their favorite in a why choose book, and Lucky is undoubtedly mine. He’s effortlessly charming and cracks me up throughout the story, and ranks high on my list of all-time favorite characters. Then there’s Jaykob, who’s a close second with his possessive, grumpy demeanor that never fails to intrigue me. I can’t help but crave even more of his character! The other three men tie for third place, each with unique traits that make them perfect fits in this dynamic.

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘦,” 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺, 𝘥𝘢𝘻𝘦𝘥. “𝘚𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘳, 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘥, 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵.”

This was a solid 4.5 read for me! As always, check your TW.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Last Ride with the Brutes and their Librarian 🍎
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 19, 2025
    Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase
To all the women who’ve ever needed someone to see them and stand up for them, this book sees you. 💔 I don’t even know where to begin because Entwined by Rebecca Quinn really did everything. It wasn’t just a story—it was a roar. Loud, raw, and powerful. I felt every heartbreak, every touch of tenderness, and every moment of growth like it was my own. I’m a total mix of messy and organised (aren’t we all just a little chaotic in the best way?), and this book somehow mirrored that—emotionally rich but so well tied together by the end. It was long, intense, and layered, but wow was it worth every second. I already miss this fierce little family and their journey. 🍎💫

What I Loved About This Book:
    💥 Plot Twists Galore:
Just when I thought I had it figured out—boom! Rebecca hit me with another twist. There was no filler here. Every page mattered, and everything tied back in a way that had me clapping by the end (alone in my room, of course 😂).

🧨 The Brutes Bring the Spice:
Oooooh yes. The heat was definitely turned up a few notches in this final book. Our favourite brutes did not disappoint 🔥 The intimacy wasn't just hot—it was layered with real emotional connection and growth. Which honestly? Made it even better. And there was some scenes we had all been waiting for!

💔 The Hard Stuff Was Done So Well:
There was real pain here. Injustice, heartbreak, the feeling of being used or unseen as a woman... and yet, it was handled with so much care. This wasn’t trauma for trauma’s sake. It was healing, too. And I felt seen. That’s rare.

    🌱 Growth, Baby:
Both the group as a whole and each character individually went through such deep development. I loved watching them all peel back their layers and start to really live, not just survive.

    👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 Found Family Feels:
They came together in such a beautiful, chaotic, love-filled way. I will miss them like old friends. Can someone invent memory erasure so I can read it all fresh again?

Entwined felt like a battle cry for every woman who’s ever been pushed down, and a warm hug for those trying to get back up. It’s fiery, emotional, and deeply satisfying. Rebecca didn’t just wrap up a series—she gave us a story that matters. I’m already feeling the ache of missing these characters… but what a privilege it was to walk alongside them. 🥹📖✨

This is a trilogy that I really think, and hope, that everyone could find something that they just grip on to and can’t let it go!

I know I should be doing a review of this book, but I don’t know how I can without it being the whole trilogy.
I have LIVED this, I have not wanted to leave these pages. There is so much to this series that I just have to recommend it all (but to check the triggers). It gets darker and darker as the books go on, but there’s a lot of fun to be had in the dark 😉
It’s everything, it’s a raging inferno, but there’s also slow burns. Theres action and there sweet stillness. There is power in every inch. There is comfort in these pages.
I have started writing this before I’ve even fully finished reading the third book because I’m just feeling so much and I am taking a break from bombarding Becky with my thoughts and reactions. She is a cruel, curel woman, but god do I love her!
The twists, the turns, the curveballs, and that’s just in the plot.
I go from throwing myself across the room in shock, crying at the sweet tenderness to laughing at something hilarious in the middle of something that shouldn’t bring laughter.
I am so content having finished this book, this beautiful beast of a book, and the trilogy as a whole. The agonizing wait between books has never been as worth the pain and pleasure.

I can not wait for the audio and I know that this will become my comfort series.
If you also haven’t listened to the audio of the first to, I urge you to check them out. The voices just really add so much more than I can express.

    A solid 5 out of 5!!!
Rebecca... darn you and your brilliance. 😭 I cried, I laughed, I GASPED so many times. It's a bittersweet moment, knowing that I've been waiting so long for this book and after absolutely devouring it in a little over 24 hours, it's done. Eden and our Brutes have been through hell and back and going through this rollercoaster of emotions along side them has truly been phenominal.

The way the plot is pulled together and we get these clear AHA moments of why things happened the way they did in the first 2 books was extraordinary. The character growth and truly seeing Eden become the amazing and strong woman we all know she is was like magic. Our Brutes learning from their mistakes and all of them pulling their heads out of their behinds was both hilarious and at times, brutal.

And the 🔥🔥? Dear God I need a cold shower or a swooning couch because JESUS you got me over here trying to fan the blush off my cheeks. 😂

Seriously, this is just one of those stories that I wish I could wipe from my memory so that I can experience it over and over again for the first time.

A post-apocalyptic, why choose story full of hope, fear, love, and human growth, it displays the best and worst of human nature, with spicy scenes as action packed as the battle scenes
If you're looking for a why choose with 5 amazing rangers and an fmc, who is the embodiment of the saying, she's not fragile like a flower, she's fragile like a bomb, then this is your book.
I have loved this series from the first book to entwined the 3rd and final entry in the series.
Every character has been written to play the perfect role, from enemies to love interests.
This is a story that had been well thought out, well paced, and doesn't rest.
Character development is perfection, the story is gripping, and the spice is a fantastic edition.
    Highly recommend!
