It plugs into the headphone jack giving me my Sony Inzone H3 headphones to use (3D audio and everything) and ports all audio I hear to a microphone port in the back of my PC. Full quality. I was having doubt if I should buy this in order to stream on my ps5 to pair up well with my laptop for streaming.

It took me 3-4hrs to set up by figuring it out how this wire work. It was totally worth it.

Now, I can listen to party chat & while doing commentary live stream at the same time. Luckily, I have the right headphone like with the wired Logitech headset with the microphone on it.

I had my Shure mv7 plug in to the laptop.

I had the wire plug to my laptop, controller & headphone for this set.

For some reason, I cannot hear the audio when I plug into the elgato. It work when I plug to my laptop. I have to set my ps5 setting Audio to HDMI Device(AV amplifier). It doesn't work well with streamlab from my testing. I have to switch to OBS software in order to work.

In the end, it is a good additional plug in to save me from headache for not able to party chat while streaming.
