Our first set had a whistle chip which was not working and opted for a replacement instead of a return. A customer representative from Elenco contacted us immediately and said that they were going to ship a replacement. The replacement set arrived on time. All the experiments we have tried so far have worked out really well. Elenco is a real quality company - in terms of their product and customer service! We have already seen their video (2018 expo) of integrating building blocks with their circuits - once we are done with our set, we definitely look forward to buying that one!
The instructions and explanations in the manuals are crystal clear - for our five-year old - who is pretty good with following instructions with brand-name building blocks. The components are sturdy and of very good quality. The real value of this set is in the safe design of the components, the explicit details of experimental setup and explanations of what is happening in the experiment.
We were thoroughly entertained by the variety of experiments - and would give this product a 1000+ stars as a quality educational tool. Our five-year old cannot get enough of this! We definitely recommend this product and look forward to buying more of their products in the future!
