    Pins must be wired differently. Didn't work. I cut up the wires and hard wired it. Now the horn works. But can't get the light to work. Not a big deal

    I was looking for a bright, versatile headlight for a custom project, and this one's wide 12-60V range was perfect. Right out of the box, I can confirm the light is impressively bright and seems well-built.
    Now, here's where things get interesting. The light comes with some kind of 3-pin connector that was completely unknown to me, so I knew I'd be cutting it off and wiring it myself. No big deal. But why three wires? My first thought was maybe the third wire was for a strobe function or a high/low beam.
    Nope. It's for a HORN. A fricken horn is built right into the headlight, and let me tell you, this thing is LOUD. It's a fantastic and genuinely useful feature.
    The problem? The box contained the light and nothing else. No wiring diagram, no spec sheet, no hint about what the third wire did. I had to play around with it to figure it out. This is a huge oversight.
    So, to save the next person the headache, here is the secret: you will need two separate switches.
    White wire is ground.
    Red wire powers the light, and it needs a standard on/off switch.
    The black wire powers the horn, and you'll want to connect it to a momentary switch (like a normal horn button).
    I'm giving this 4 stars. The product itself—a bright headlight with a powerful, integrated horn—is excellent. But I'm knocking a star off for the complete lack of documentation, which turns a simple installation into a game of trial and error. If you're comfortable with a little wiring guesswork, this is an awesome, feature-packed light.
