    Bought thus in 2019, it died 2025. So I re ordered the exact same one I got in 2019 from my "buy again" function... this new grinder is not as strong as the old one and has cheaper materials. The grinder blade get stuck alot and it has screws inside the grinding part that collect a ton of extra crap

    A little tricky to use but getting used to it slowly. Wish it were battery operated though as it needs charging every time I go to use. The trick to pressing 5 times rapidly to start is a pain in the keester!! Must be another brand out there that just turns on with a single press - it does grind seeds though - you have to just keep shaking rapidly up and down and finally all is ground. ps- seeds are light so this is probably why - they tend to float with the air movement. Keep looking around for a simpler grinder

    I like to make my own spice blends. You know, like my own poultry seasoning or pork rub. For large batches I have a big mortar and pestle, which works great, but is too bulking for "single serving" sized jobs.

    This is why I picked this grinder up. The two small glass jars are perfect sized for quick batches of garam masala for Indian night! I just add my dried spices to the jar, trigger the device (you have to push the power button multiple times initially to get the unit to turn on. This is a safety feature), flip the device up-side -down and sake it a bit. One thing I learned quite quickly is this grinder is VERY quick to reduce your spices to fine dust, so if you want a little texture or visual separation of your spices, limit how long you run the grinder.

    I've enjoyed this grinder so much I order another one for my daughter who is a professional chef. She loves it as much as I do.

    ... but not well with hard seeds or nut-type spices, or large items.
    It came fully charged, so that was a plus. We were able to use it right away to make fresh herbs for our dinner salad.
    It does take five quick press-release-press again cycles to turn it on, and then it turns off when you remove your finger from the switch. (I guess it's a safety feature, but it seems redundant, since there is a safety switch inside so it can't be run without a jar FULLY ATTACHED).
    It does work well with oregano (mmm-mmm-mmmm!, the smell and taste of FRESH ground oregano!), thyme, and coriander. Those we've done with it.
    We're looking forward to the smell and taste of all the herbs that go on a turkey or goose for Christmas. You need one jar to catch the spices that you're currently grinding (and to make the grinder "go"), and there's a spare jar to mix or store in, although storing goes against the grain in my book -- that's why we have the grinder -- to use the grindings right away!
    The blades are tiny, and pointed but not sharp to the touch (but they'd slice up a finger if they were spinning!), but there's also a "mincing blade" for lack of a better word, that lays flat at the bottom of the grinder that helps to "feather" the chopped pieces (hard to describe, but it does seem to add to the finished product).
    You have to supply the power box with the standard USB outlet, and you'll probably want to change out the short cord they give you for a longer one (at least I know I will), and the whole thing is small enough to store in a drawer when not in use.
    I took off one star simply because it is NOT strong enough to do bulb- or nut-type spices, and because the USB charger does not come with a power block and is NOT compatible with a standard USB-c cord (the plug has to be smaller than a USB-c, and is one-sided). Otherwise, it's a good product for what it designed to do -- chop up fresh herbs!

    My hubby and I are avid cooks, and as we all know, spices make our cooking go from blah to sensational! Especially when they are ground fresh at the time of cooking!

    I stumbled on this petite, rechargeable herb grinder while searching for other things on 鶹, and it seemed a perfect addition for our creative kitchen... so I ordered it on the spot.

    Here's the Pros:

    This stylish electric grinder is small, easy to hold in your hand, and simple to operate. This gadget comes as a kit, with two 70 ml glass jars to grind and store some of your spices within, with a lid for one of the jars. As this cute little guy is rechargeable, you are given a short USB-A to Micro-USB cable to charge the grinder. Kindly be aware that you must provide your own power charger. Also, you are provided a petite grinder brush for cleaning the blades. This kit comes in a lovely giftable black box. So far, so good.

    Now for the Cons:

    In short, this grinder we received couldn't grind any of our spices into the powder form shown in the listing-- the main reason I got this grinder in the first place. We tried everything to make it happen, including charging up the unit, making sure the blade and jar was seated properly, and used the correct spices that can be ground to powder. Forgive me for my honesty, but nada resulted for us. Thus, my appreciation of this spice grinder is diminished somewhat.

    It didn't help that the button on the grinder wasn't that responsive either. This grinder button requires 5 quick presses to turn the machine on, but several times it refuses to start, which was a bit odd to me. We own other grinders for both spices and coffee beans, and one press is all that's needed to start them. I'm mystified why this 5 presses in succession is needed to turn both the grinder on and 5 presses to turn it off, and this could very well be a design flaw-- but my hubby says it can be a safety thing. In addition, the USB cable for charging is quite short, and it limits where you can plug it in (err, into the power adapter).

    In my heart, I find it hard to recommend this lovely looking spice grinder, as it didn't perform very well. Just perhaps, you might have better luck than we had with this unique LTQ Vapor Electric Herb Grinder with 2x 70 ml Glass Jars.

    I thought I was ordering a grinder/shaker and would perform like a salt/pepper shaker, but be warned it is only a grinder. This kit comes with two glass jar that holds the spices to be ground and one lid for a glass jar to store. When I received my item I charged it over night and I bought some course salt to experiment with it; basically I semi-read the instructions. Now fully chartered I “filled” up my jar and attached it to the grinder. Imagine how sad I was when it didn’t work. Yet again, I need to read with more attention to the details. The glass jar should only be filled up 1/3 of the jar, bam, it works great now. The grinder was able to grind the salt very fine, like the fine salt that goes on movie theater popcorn. This is a pleasant surprise, because I love movie theater popcorn and I’m know for indulgence with the salt. I don’t have to special order salt online for my popcorn, I can know do it w/my own grinder.
