I've tried all different types of compression socks, for my needs, for some reason or another they never worked out properly. Thought I would try the old school tensor bandage, and I'm very happy with with them. I could have saved myself a bunch of money by just getting these first. I also like the little velcro at the end that allows for a more secure fit, along with the little metal clips. I would buy again and I have already recommended.
When I bought 8 of these, at first I regretted it. But then we needed several because a person we know had a broken bone, and the difference between these and the one the hospital gave us were so pronounced. You can wash and reuse - they stretch but it's ok. So if you want a cheap one-time use bandage, skip this. If you use tensors and like having them on hand, it's a good product.
These are the same decent elastic bandages I have been used to all my life and exactly what I hoped I was buying. They are good for a number of uses and washes. I am happy to have these in my first aid kit.
