En Francia se publicó en 1946, hasta que terminó la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Antoine murió antes de verlo publicado en su país, el 31 de julio de 1944 cuando su avión cayó en el mar Mediterráneo.

I love this book so much! Even though it was meant for children. I think adults can take so much from this book. I read some reviews that said that the printing was awful. But I really didnt care I just wanted to read it. Surprisingly the paper quality was really good!! I couldn't complain at all. Me encanta este libro! Habia leído que la calidad del papel era malo pero no me importaba sólo queria leerlo. Sorprendentemente la calidad de la hija era buena! Nada de que quejarme
