I did have to drill out and tap new threads in the roof mount, not the fault of the seller, but the largest of supplied threaded adapters worked well, I tapped the threads in the roof mount to match. Very happy with the product as I did not have to remove trim and roll back the roof liner to replace the entire assembly at greater cost.
