The packaging problem seems to have been fixed! The bottle came tightly wrapped in plastic wrap, and it was clear that not a drop had leaked out! The product also works very well to reduce facial itching and redness. I had previously been using a product that contained aloe/witch hazel/rose water, but I wanted stronger witch hazel. This product does the trick perfectly, and I even added some to my previous blended product to strengthen it.

    This was the perfect blend of Aloe Vera and Hammamelis which are both very healing. The smell was lovely and it felt very concentrated versus other brand that might dilute with water. I healed very quickly this post partum and this has definetely played a role in my healing process.

    When I got this I realized why it's so hard to find Witch Hazel that isn't laden with added scents. This is fragrance-free (not to be confused with unscented, which often has chemicals added to mask scents. Fragrance-free just means it smells like whatever is in it), and it turns out Witch Hazel is some pungent stuff. ;) When I first got it I wasn't sure if I would get used to it. The good news is, it only took me about a week. I use it as a facial toner after washing.

    Also, the scent doesn't stick around at all, it's just if you are wiping it right by your nose, you're gonna smell it.

    Anyway, it works great, and I love that it is alcohol-free, a thing you have to look for in witch hazel.

    Definitely recommended.

    This was the first witch hazel I’ve ever purchased, it was first place over Thayers but I wanted to try that one as well for a fair comparison. After using Thayers I can easily confirm that this was a great product. I tone my face morning before moisturizing and after washing my makeup off at night before bed and it removes the extra dirt, oil and makeup I didn’t get with the soap/cleanser. It leaves a clean sensation that I don’t get with Thayers. I purchased the original Thayers product with aloe and it leaves my skin feeling soapy. I do recommend this product for those with acne! It certainly helps to keep my hormonal cystic acne less angry.

    I'm writing this review for that one person that's like me. Has trust issues with not being able to physically hold, smell, and see the product. There's no smell, no alcoholic sting, and the consistency is watery. Personally think this is the best witch hazel I've purchased. Nice and clean easy to used with cotton pads. I also mix this with rose water (for facial) or tea tree oil (for cuts and bug bites) and it mixes well with other ointments for suppository uses.

    Over all 5 star rating three start packaging, and 3 stars for the price.
