    An epic disaster movie from the earlier years,and with big name actors. Sensurround was the new big thing used in the theaters when this movie came out. Large sub woofers would be placed at floor level in front of the screen area. When an earthquake would happen the sub woofers would come to life. The sound literally would shake the theater making it feel as if you were actually in a real earthquake. This process was also used in the movie Midway while the pilots were flying their planes.
