    I use them for the back speakers of an a/v system. Not sure they would be ideal for heavy front speakers, since the tubes of the stands are made of two sections. But for light speakers I do not see any problem. And they are nice, well built.

Top and bottom plates line up perfectly if you take time to align them before tightening the bolts . Really like the glass bottom plate. The wood top could have been better if had foam, rubber grip .     Pros,

    1. Sturdy well built stands for bookshelf and satellite speakers.
    2. They look nice, are well balanced, come with anti-slip pads and it's easy to run the speaker wireless through the bottom to the speakers.
    3. It was OK to build, it didn't take long, didn't come with any missing parts and only needed an Allan wrench included with theese stands to put everything together.

    Cons,
    1. Even though it was OK to put together it still wasn't the easiest stand to assemble. If you're not a DIY type of person you may either want to buy something preassembled or have someone else put it together for you.
    2. When assembling it's best to pay attention to details. You could put something together backwards. I did, but luckily caught myself immediately.

    All in all I had these stands for a while and I don't plan on replacing them. In the past I bought cheaper stands and those never lasted. These weren't all that expensive and it's better to pay a little more for quality than to cut corner for something cheap that's not likely to last.

    All components were extremely way packed, instructions were easy to follow and was a quick set up to get these put together.

    I like the cable management holes to run the cable through as well as the inclusion of both rug/carpet spikes and the hardwood/tile floor feet. These are the absolute perfect size and height for what I needed.
