It was a good price and I wanted to replace all of my ceiling fans and add some more fan/light combos to my home.
Pros:
- short profile... about 8" ... the fan/light combos it replaced was about 16"... so I got an additional 8" of headroom! This was an important factor for me.
- not heavy compared to the previous fan/light combo
- adds air circulation when needed
- 1h/2h timer functions... so that's helpful
Cons:
- remote is a bit gimmicky to get paired
- no batteries (2xAAA needed)
- pairing instructions are a joke.
- pairing instructions:
power off via light switch, then power on.
THEN push the light on/off button (for my remote it was the middle circle button)
led light will turn on/then off
TEST via FAN button controls... easiest to notice
if it doesn't work, try again
when paired, you'll have to keep clicking the light dimmer for low brightness. It's not a 0% to 100% scale. Rather, it's in 20% increments... so you have 5 dimming levels
Overall, I'm satisfied.
