    Bought these floats for a umx turbo timber I even got the horizon part number off the box that the plane came in but when they arrived the clips that hold the float brackets on the plane would not even line up. This is clearly horizons fault no ones else's they try to make a generic set of floats but don't consider that all mounts are not the same and just expect the end user will modify them to fit. Another shabby product from horizon😖

    I have been flying a little UMX Turbo Timber for a while. It's great to introduce non RC people to flying, without being overly expensive or hard to transport. Our RC Club has 2 annual Charity Float Flys, and I didn't have a float plane. I bought this float kit, and assembled it to my Turbo Timber. I had to create a way to hold the aft float spreader wire to the fuselage, because the spreader wire tab doesn't fit into the Turbo Timber slot. Further, the shape of the wires made the intended hold downs unuseable on the Turbo Timber. My addition is 1/16 ply, coated in thin CA to keep it from dissolving in the lake. It seems solid, but only contact with water will tell the tale.
