Current price point at the time/date of this review: $163.19 with a 6% discount being provided by the seller. Pricing is overall fair thanks to the feature rich capabilities, however closer towards the $100 mark would be optimal. But seeing as it’s a Starlink compatible device capable of delivering PoE injection, it’s considered a specialty item albeit a little overpriced for what it is. Shop around for the best deal.

Comes in a decent build and exterior quality and the design overall looks great. Can be mounted to the wall of your RV or cottage or maybe even home and offers direct access to your Starlink. PoE stands for “power over ethernet” and yes it comes with all the necessities to get going and have your network kickstarted for country and rural folks. Decent but pricey.

I put this on a cabin I have running on a solar system. I prefer this set up as it keeps everything DC, avoiding the need to convert between AC and DC power which is inefficient. I should add I'm running a Starlink GEN 2 dish. This device isn't necessary for Gen 1 or 3.

I'd like to think of this more as a Data ejector, but it is injecting power over Ethernet so that's the appropriate term for it. It just feels like I am trying to pull the data out.

Set up with simple, I wired it into my existing 12 V system, connected my dish and my network, and I was ready to go. Give them a lower voltage I'm running it did pull more amps, but I had anticipated for that and wired appropriately.

This is an excellent way to bypass the need for a modem, and bypass Starlink dongle and is easy to integrate into most RV and low voltage cabin systems.

It has the basic CAT slot connection and the starlink injector connector, with the screw in positive and negative slots for wires. This works good for running the starlink off a12 volt battery system and I have also ordered a 12-volt 150 watt charging adapter to plug into 110 volt, as I want to be able to also use it on AC when I have the power available.

Compre este artículo junto con el modem GL.iNet para conectar mi antena gen 2 de Starlink al sistema solar de mi casa rodante, pero no pude lograr que funcione. Cuando conecto el cable de la antena al inyector, la antena se prende momentáneamente, pero inmediatamente se apaga y dice que no hay una antena conectada, después de unos minutos lo vuelve a intentar, pero tampoco logra conectarse.
La antena funciona perfectamente y no tiene ningún problema cuando se conecta con el modem original de starlink. Otro detalle que también cabe mencionar es que el aparato se calienta considerablemente.
Voy a regresarlo y probar el inyector que consta de 3 partes, por un lado, para ver si mi aparato está defectuoso y también para ver si se calienta menos.

My original buck converter died on me a week into our summer trip. So instead of getting another, I decided to try one of the all-in-one solutions. This was one was available quickly, so I gave it a shot. It fired right up and is giving me really good speed. It's power usage is less than the kit I had built, so that is a plus. Overall happy with it but I do wish it didn't get so hot. I have it on an aluminum heat sink to try and keep airflow all around it. I may add a small 12v fan to it for our next trip.

I did a lot of homework on how best to approach getting my version 2 dish on 12V DC. This was one of the easiest ways and the $ cost was pretty close to other methods. I added a GL.iNet AX3000 Beryl router, a cigarette lighter cable, a couple 3 wire Wago connectors, a shielded ethernet cable, and a 12V DC to 5V DC USB C converter to power the router. I am using a Jackery 1000 for DC power. It probably took 20 to 30 minutes to very carefully connect everything. Tested it and its stable, no glitches/disconnects so far, cycled power several times and everything worked. Will test it some more and need to assemble a carry box once I am confident this set-up is solid.
