Nice clean lines and brushed stainless steel, and, unlike similar items, no logo.
I've found that the hook openings should be oriented outward. I've tested both, as you can see in my two pictures. The rod gets pushed off the arms easily when the hooks point toward the wall. This doesn't happen when the're pointed outward.
Simple and functional. The hollow rod is light, but sturdy enough for its purpose, and on the whole this paper towel roll holder is more trustworthy than one-armed versions that are prone to bending and breaking at the rod attachment point.
It keeps a frequently used item off the counter, making the kitchen just a touch more functional as it awaits renovation.
I used the screws, as I don't like the sort of adhesive mounting system provided, and I like the look of the screw caps better than the nuts that came with the adhesive system. I had to trim the length of the screws so they wouldn't poke through the cabinet shelf (your standard cheap electrical wire stripper usually has holes for clipping screws of various widths) and drill screw holes since the screws were no longer pointy, which is fine. Unfortunately, however, one of the screw caps wouldn't fit over its plastic mount, so I had to order new screw caps (with legit metal mounts) separately.
