Fast delivery. Smoker is excellent quality, very easy to assemble and set up. Smoked ribs the first time and was great. Temperature held up and stayed consistent for the entire smoke. Word of advice be extremely careful when putting together. Mine fell off my uneven surface and damaged the door. Customer service is fast at responding to requests. I couldn’t be happier with East Oak and their product. Would recommend 100%

    I’ve owned a couple of electric smokers before, but they rusted out over time. This one feels much more durable. Electric smokers are a great, hassle-free way to smoke meat, and I’ve always gone for the cheapest options—glad I spent the extra this time.

    Suggestions for improvement:

    The maximum cook time is 12 hours, but I’d love to see at least 24 hours as an option.

    It would be great if the smoker could retain cooking parameters and automatically resume after a power glitch (e.g., a brief flicker or surge). For safety, if the power loss lasts more than 5 minutes, the restart should be canceled to prevent unintended operation after a longer outage.

    Overall, a solid upgrade from budget models, but a few tweaks could make it perfect.

    So far so good, works great, have made Smoked Salmon and Pork in it so far. Easy to clean up as the provided drip pan guides the drippings into a hole so it doesn't make a big mess. Especially like that this comes with a meat thermometer, so you can just check the temp of your food by pressing the "Probe" button quick and it tells you how far along your food is. Be careful how you screw in the metal screws as I did notice some that I might have scraped up while putting together are showing a touch of rust. Think I just scraped off the Black coating so should be fine otherwise. Customer Service extremely helpful if you need any help. Read around on different sites reviews before buying so pleased with my choice going with East Oak. Good Value for the cost!

    This smoker is well designed overall. Assembly instructions are clear and all parts and hardware clearly labeled making assembly straight forward. The parts finish and fitment is very good. Seems to be well engineered. The only flaw, and an important one, is that the door latch is made of stamped stainless steel that has razor sharp edges. If you grab the latch at a slight angle, which most people would, the edges of the latch could cut your hand. This is a serious safety flaw and should be addressed. I cut my thumb simply following the instructions. The sharp edges should be dressed or folded over for safety imo. The rest of the smoker is very well made. The seasoning process is straightforward. Cleaning is easy. The stand is sturdy and well designed. Controls are intuitive making it easy to use.

    I must acknowledge the superlative customer service at East Oak. I received my 30" smoker with a torn box and damage of the unit, clearly effected by transportation. I notified East Oak and provided pictures. They immediately issued a replacement unit. They updated the delivery status and kept in touch with me until it was successfully delivered.
    As I assembled the unit, I was impressed by the detailed solid state engineering of the product. Upon using it for the first time (on my freshly caught Lake Michigan salmon), I was very impressed with the maintenance of temperature and the design of the unit to provide smoke. Overall, I have to give this product 5 stars, and again especially give a big shout-out to their incredible customer service.

    Purchased East Oak Smoker two months ago, and have enjoyed using this product with great results. After two uses the control panel cover plastic started to break and come apart. I contacted the Customer Support Team via email, and had a quick response the next day, and within less than a week I received a new replacement part, with instruction on how to replace the part. I would highly recommend this product, the smoke quality is great and easy to clean. Also with the great support that you get from the Customer Support Team, it is a win win buy.
