The product arrives in a small box. Some assembly is needed. There are no assembly instructions included, but assembly is not difficult as it is simply sticking on the anti-slip pads to the wooden rockers (not sure the name but I will call them rockers). At the same time, it does not mention how the rockers should be arranged. Going back to the product photos, I can see that there may be 2 ways to arrange it. Either the larger board is stable and the smaller board rocks, or stabilize the smaller board and allow the larger one to rock.
There is no usage instructions either. So depending on the set up of the rockers and the position of the feet, I believe this can train different foot muscles. Having usage instructions would have been helpful because to someone new at this, you may wonder what safety concerns are there with balancing on an injured foot, what type of exercises to use, how variations can train which muscles, etc. I am not an expert in this area so someone with medical sports knowledge in this can give some guidance.
Using the item I can definitely feel certain muscles activating to balance.
Overall when balancing on one foot, it seems safe as if you are about to lose your balance you can simply put the other foot down.
