Error first use
Immediately on first use no attachments got an error that airway was blocked. Happens on auto and in boost mode. Followed instructions and verified no blockages or packaging. Dyson apparently has no in stock repair parts and if I send it in they only provide a refurbished unit. Since it was the first day of use decided to return to 鶹 and cut my losses as this actually cost more than my first car! 鶹 did also not offer a replacement as the price has changed significantly over the last month. Box marked 53 of 535 so I am sure there are a few others going to be sold be sure you try it soon after receiving before the return window ends! Update: Replacement unit same problem. Both returned, both failed before first use.

    I can’t believe this is a Dyson. Dyson should have never agreed to developing this product. It has terrible suction, it’s heavy the work with and the battery life is very poor. To make matters worse the tools that attach to this product are not compatible with my other Dyson. What a waste of money. I would never recommend this product.

    Never before have I been so gleefully sucked into domestic servitude. The Dyson Outsize Total Clean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner isn't just a vacuum, it's a revelation. It's a sci-fi movie. It's a comedy special. Let me explain.

    Firstly, it's bigger on the inside. I'm pretty sure the Dyson folks have ripped off Dr. Who's TARDIS tech. The 'outsize' bin might look normal on the outside, but it’s apparently a portal to another dimension. I’ve been vacuuming for a week straight, and I'm yet to empty it. I think I accidentally vacuumed up the neighbor's dog and two small cars, but the bin's still showing empty!

    The suction on this bad boy is so potent, it's borderline terrifying. My dust bunnies didn't stand a chance. I'm certain it sucked up the ghost that was haunting my attic, too. Suddenly, no more mysterious noises at night. Coincidence? I think not. This thing doesn't mess around. I'm starting to wonder if my carpets are going to be the next victims.

    And can we talk about the 'total clean' feature? It's so thorough I’m convinced it’s vacuuming away my past mistakes and regrets along with the dirt. Post-vacuuming, the house doesn't just look cleaner, it feels lighter, brighter, and full of positivity. I swear my plants are even growing better.

    Cordless? Absolutely! It's like being liberated from vacuuming jail. No cords, no boundaries. I feel like an astronaut exploring the far reaches of my living room, unhindered. Only my cat keeps a safe distance, no doubt traumatized from the days of the corded vacuum chase.

    I have been using my Dyson Outsize for a year and a half. I got this model because it has a bigger collection canister. I have a golden retriever and vacuum often. It works great, but I wish I had returned it and gotten a smaller model. I am 5'2" and it is too big and bulky for me. It is very top heavy and difficult to use. If you are a petite person, think carefully before ordering this model.

    I have had this thing for over a year now and I am as in love with it as I was the day I first used it.
    The double batteries make using this a breeze and rarely do I need to swap batteries when I’m vacuuming my entire 1200 sq ft home.
    The giant canister can hold an entire house worth of grossness and that’s including all of the grime 3 kids cause. No need to constantly clean it out because it’s a big boy.
    There’s nothing like being cordless and untethered.
    This was worth every penny.
    I will agree with other reviewers- it is heavy and will give your arm a good workout.
    A quality vacuum that has lived up to the hype and I’ve been using it daily (kids amiright?) since July 2023.

    OMG! This vacuum, puts my old Dyson to shame! The suction power on this vacuum is incredible. I mean seriously, the first time I used it in the house you could see an immediate difference in my carpet. My husband even commented that the carpet felt softer and was noticeably cleaner looking! Since it has smart technology and 3 different suction levels, I decided to try it out on my Turkish rug (that has always been a pain in the butt to vacuum). Well, let me just say this…HOLY SMOKES! It is incredible and cleaned that rug like it was no work at all! Finally, I am able to get all the dog and cat fur out of my carpets and rugs, along with dirt and everything else that my pets, kids, and husband leave/track into the house. This is definitely one of the best decisions I’m made on an expensive purchase! So other things I love about it: noise level is pretty low, the storage tank capacity it a really good size, all the different attachments it comes with, the smart sensor, the ability to change strength on it for suction power, the no hassle on a cord (because that was my biggest obstacle in the past), the 2 batteries that seriously last a really long time, the ease of use, the attachment to clean under furniture, and the easy to empty bin. It is a bit on the heavier side, but that’s not a big deal. I do wish there was a way to not have to hold the power button the whole time though, it would be nice to have the option to just have it on. But that is my one and only complaint. I love this vacuum and am so happy I purchased it. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has little kids, pets, or just wants a super deep cleaning vacuum.
