Just wanted to write about this product. Even though it says it’s 9” it’s considered bigger then you expect. Double check the size in the description before purchasing. If you are planning on installing it behind your tv and within the mount, it might still be too big to fit between the mounts arms.
I wish they had a smaller size as it would be a perfect product for that application. Not much else on the market quite like this. I really wanted something like this to have a media box inside it and a faceplate to keep it tidy looking when the tv is pulled out as I wasn’t planning on having any cabinets near the tv.
I ended up using the datacom recessed box instead. Smaller but still room for a media device but no face plate.
