- Reviewed in Canada on November 10, 2022Verified PurchaseI watched a DIY video on testing different products to patch drywall holes for re-screw the same spot and this product came as the best to hold object weight. I was skeptical due to some comments, but given the price for 24 I decided to try and it worked like a charm. I wrapped around existing anchor with the screw and push it until its flush and let it dry for 5 mins. That anchor no longer move so I remove the screw to attach my towel holder and my magnetic key holder and it's no longer loose. This is for drywall small holes not for wood or brick walls. I decided patch with polyfilla and sand the drywall to make it even but not blocking the anchor just to keep wall flush in case I need to paint since when it dries, it's like paper mesh and it's ugly. This product is good for drywall holes, don't think it's good for wood or brick.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 1, 2024Verified PurchaseMy children pulled on our towel rack and 1 side became lose and fell out. I googled how to fix it and this product was recommended. It was a reasonable price so I thought I would try it, even though I didn’t have high hopes it would work. It was very easy to use just followed the instructions. Too my surprise it worked like a charm. I gave it a couple days to make sure it was completely dried. The towel bar has stayed in place for months. I would definitely use this again for another home repair and would recommend.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 21, 2025Verified PurchaseDoesn't come with the anchors like the picture would lead you to believe. But it is working so far and holding the curtain rod in place for the most part
- Reviewed in Canada on April 23, 2025Verified PurchaseI got this to fix a loose nail in the wall. I followed the instructions provided and it was easy to plug the nail back into the wall without it being loose anymore.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 14, 2024Verified PurchaseI recently tried the Fixing Loose Wall Plugs Fast (24 Discs) kit to address some issues with loose fittings in my drywall, particularly for my curtain rails and towel racks. While the product does have some advantages, there are also a few drawbacks that prevent me from giving it a higher rating.
On the positive side, the discs are incredibly easy to use. I appreciated the straightforward instructions—simply place a disc behind the loose wall plug and reinsert the screw. The setup process is quick, and the discs set firmly in just a few minutes, providing an immediate fix. This was particularly handy for someone like me who isn't very experienced with DIY repairs.
The versatility of the product is another plus. It's suitable for various wall types, including wood, masonry, concrete, plasterboard, and ceramic. This makes it a convenient solution for different repair needs around the house.
However, I did encounter some limitations. While the discs work well for light to medium fixtures, they aren't as effective for heavier items. I found that my curtain rail, which holds thick, heavy curtains, didn't stay as securely as I had hoped. The discs provide some reinforcement, but they don't offer the same strength as traditional wall anchors.
Additionally, while the pack includes 24 discs, I found myself using multiple discs for a single fitting to ensure it was secure, which means the pack might not last as long as expected if you have several repairs to make.
Overall, the Fixing Loose Wall Plugs Fast kit is a decent product for quick and easy repairs. It's ideal for lightweight fixtures and provides a temporary fix for more significant issues. However, for heavier items or long-term solutions, you might need to look for a more robust option.
- Reviewed in Canada on October 21, 2023Verified PurchaseThese are actually really great! They work so well, but I have to admit, I haven't used them for their intended purpose.
While installing a wire shelving/closet rod system, I made some mistakes...I had some loose nails, (anyone who has installed these systems knows Rubbermaid uses nails that are supposed to expand a pre-attached type of anchor but they don't always work as intended) and I used one of these patches to kind of wedge in, and it is as solid as can be!
I also have used one to cover a giant hole in my wall because I hate using mud and sanding, filling more mud and sanding, filling more mud and sanding...I know I can't pass this off as a true patch, but the hole is behind a piece of furniture, so no one will ever know.
I'm very happy with these.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 6, 2025Verified PurchaseNot a long term solution - Just a band aid solution that will end up costing more money afterwards
And for me it didnt even work in my situation
- Reviewed in Canada on September 6, 2024Verified PurchaseI messed up a hole holding a drywall plug (the type you screw in) to the point where the plug just fell out. I wrapped 4 wetted layers of this product around the plug and shoved the plug back in the hole. Shortly afterwards, the product hardened and, vwa lah (voilà), the plug was held firmly in place. I was able to mount my shelf brackets to the drywall and all was well.

Verified PurchaseAfter months of my cats pulling on my curtains, the anchors were pulling out of the wall. It drove me absolutely crazy every day seeing the curtain rod lopsided. I attempted several times to tighten the screws back in, but eventually the anchors wouldn’t even stay in the wall. I was honestly going to call a handyman and shudder to think what they would charge for something so seemingly simple. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this product and I’m so glad I did. I will admit I was skeptical at first, but for the price, I figured it was definitely worth a try. The instructions are easy enough to follow, especially for someone who is not very handy like me. When you wet the pad and wrap the anchor, it turns into a paste-like consistency. I would definitely recommend not wearing nice clothes and having a paper towel handy when using this. When I pushed the anchor into the wall, some of the paste seeped out around the anchor and started to drip down the wall. I wiped it quickly and all is well. The packaging says to let the product dry for 3 minutes before putting the screw back in, but I waited for about 15 minutes to give a little extra time just in case. I drilled the screws back in, and all is well in the world again! I am thrilled with this product and the fact that they give you so many pads for the price. Like others have said, this is a must have for your toolkit. Definitely worth the price and it works very well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Work well and cost effective.
Verified PurchaseThese work remarkably well. We often drill into our 1930’s house walls to end up with. Much larger hole than intended, and these have been life savers to allow us overdone this problem.
Easy to use and work as described. As such, good value for money and offer sturdiness in that frustrating situation…
