    My husband used this type of board in the nursing home and it seems to be very comparable to that. He came home one day only to be rushed to the hospital so it is hard to really rate anything medical I purchased for him since he isn't home as yet. But these boards make transferring from the bed to the wheelchair and the wheelchair back to the bed easy. They also trained him to go from the bed to the commode. Makes it much easier on the caregiver too.

    My husband is wheel chair bound and slide boards help transferring. This slide board was too thick at the ends and the surface was not b=very smooth.. It is hard to slide one end under his bottom when it is squared off too much at the end. Other slide boards have been better
