Had to help husband every time getting up from bed hurting my back....after I installed this to our Tempurpedic adjustable queen size bed, he loves being able to get up by himself and a great relief for me. Easy to assemble, very sturdy and if bar becomes wobbly, just tightened screws. Just love it.....reasonably priced too.
5.0 out of 5 starsBed rail with very long straps that wrap around box spring.

This product was suggested by a physical therapist because of the straps that wrap around the box spring for the most stable support. It is fantastic for my 83 year old mother who underwent heart surgery. I also purchased a low profile box spring so she can be more independent getting off and on the bed without a step stool.
This bed rail is easy to install and very sturdy. It does need soem minor assembly but it comes with all the tools necesary to do so. I had it out of the box and installed onto the bed in less than 15 minutes. It took longer to push the mattress back into the bed than it did to assemble and install the rail.

It makes it easy to get into and out of bed and to turn while in bed. Even though the strap goes completely around the mattress, you cannot feel it while in bed. It is very secure even though I have an adjustable bed. I love the pocket that hangs over the rail. I keep my remote for the adjustable bed, a crossword puzzle book, and a pen it the pocket. There is no problem in making the bed or changing the linens, since there is space between the edge of the bed and the rail.
Had to replace a previous bedrail since the gap was too wide and was a strangulation risk at assisted living. They allowed this one. Nice padded rail and pocket for "stuff' like remotes. Fairly easy to install, straps run under mattress and bedframe. Pro tip (or my lesson of the day): put it on before you put on the mattress
