5.0 out of 5 stars It helped friend gain some mobility freedoms back
Verified PurchaseMyself and friends went in on this for a friend of ours struggling with mobility while waiting on a couple surgeries. She’s been given some freedoms back with the use of it. It is holding up well, easy to maneuver, and strolls smoothly. It’s easy to lift seat and compact chair or push down on seat near handles to secure the chair before friend sits in it. The hand grips for someone to push it make my hands hurt some if used for really long lengths of time. Friend is not able to lift, load, unload chair on her own. She only uses it when someone can travel with her to help load/unload it because she’s a fall risk when standing without supports. It fits well in her backseat or my trunk. If someone has back troubles the weight of lifting it may be troublesome. The arms lift up if she wants to use it for dining table or at a desk. The leg pieces my son and I struggled with to put on. They both eventually fell off, but friend didnt mind because she wasn’t using them anyway-not able to lift her legs to rest on them. Friend does a good job steering the wheels on her own also when on flat surfaces (cement, tile, etc.) She hasn’t tried over carpet yet. Hope this helps. We’d purchase this again for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect buy for a non- permanent chair
Verified PurchaseThis walker is not for someone who will be in it permanently. It is an excellent intermediate buy for our needs.
It is a bit more expensive than the other “lightweights” out there but, I will be using it from for some of my trips out and about for now on as this horrid disease advances and while I can still walk. After this I guess I will move on to a scooter. BUT NOT YET LOL!
Also, I am quite heavy and I wanted something wide aand sturdy. This fits the bill!
Only assembly was the leg rests that snap in
Smooth ride on carpet or tile
Did not use outside
I can walk a bit so I do not take inside restroom stalls
No purse or bag seems to work well for me .....wheel get in way so you carry on your lap and hook on handles when stopped... Perhaps a VERY shorthandled bag might work?
I purchased a seat and a back cushion for my comfort. (I have severe spinal arthritis and 11 compromised discs) With those cushions, I am very. Comfortable.
Lightweight and was easy for husband with impaired back to slip into trunk of our Altima
Folds closed easily by pulling up on seat ... I would recommend purchasing a 6 -10” velcro or bungee to place around handles to keep the chair closed if collapsing in a restaurant etc.
It is true the leg rests may “pop up” to a higher (sticking out) position but the lever on each side
allows for an easy drop to the lowest down position quickly.
I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Perfect for my Intermittent use. (I use a walker most of the time) I even used the chair as a walker when I got tired of sitting! My family loves it! I love it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wheel Chair works well as a first wheel chair
Verified PurchaseMy purpose for purchasing the wheelchair was to avoid extreme pain from walking. My issue has diminished at this point but I did find the wheelchair useful. Now some of the issues that I present may be more issues with me than the actual chair. It is an adventure when trying how to learn tasks that I used to take for granted when not using a wheelchair.
1> The wheels that you use to move the chair are plastic. When you bump against something they can get dinged. I used sandpaper to smooth them out again so that they were smoother on the hands.
2> The lever on the right side that releases the leg support jammed. I was able to free it again.
3> If you don't keep your weight back in the chair, you can spin the wheels.
The chair is light and easy to use. I like the chair other than the few issues that I had. Some of my issues may just have been me. I found some useful videos on youtube on how to move around.

5.0 out of 5 stars Like all wheel chairs, you must be careful of the center of gravity.
Verified PurchaseI have to say that the first product that came was missing the foot rests, which made it pretty much useless. However the replacement that came was all in order, and hassle free. It did take a while for the replacement, so i did have to rent a wheel chair for 2 months. Kind of an inconvenience, and disappointment, but still it was worth the wait.
Pros:
- Easy fold up for travell.
- Adjustable and adjustable rising leg rests
- Sturdy seating, even for my heavier family members
- arm rests can be swung out of the way for easy placement of the chair at a table.
- comfortable even for extended use
- solid rubber tires have good grip on most surfaces
Cons:
- carbon fiber style wheel spokes make it light, but it feels brittle and i worry they may crack at some point.
- velcro that holds the back of the seat bottom to the bottom of the seat back sometimes slips, making it feel like your butt might pop through.
Overall, it's a very decent wheelchair value for the price. It's the preferred brand of many of the medical centers near me.
