This little space heater gets very hot on maximum setting so best to put it 3 feet away from you or put it at a lower the heat setting. I bought it to use in my tent with a portable power station, unfortunately it sucks my 2000 watt portable power station my dry after about 4 hours of use, so it is better to use with a direct power source ( electrical outlet). I like the remote it comes as it unlimited the need to get out of a warm sleeping bag to turn it off at the source. It is a good source of heat .

I researched space heaters for a while as I needed to replace my Noma tower heater that stopped working.
The Dreo got good reviews online and I took the plunge.
It's definitely a quality product, looks great, sleek and has a great remote. It's very quiet compared to my Noma.

The problem was it simply doesn't have the fan output to heat any medium sized room. The noma was the same wattage (1500w) so in theory it should heat the room at the same rate as this Dreo. Unfortunately, the little heater just couldn't spread the heat around fast enough.

I used to put my old heater in the dining room to heat it up for breakfast without turning the entire house heat on. It would get comfortable within about 5-10 minutes. Ditto for the basement. The Dreo wouldn't even get the room to the same temp in 1 HOUR, both upstairs and in the basement. I think 'eventually' given physics, it would warm the room but it just doesn't circulate the heat fast enough due to a weak fan. If you stand right next to it, you feel the heat, but not even a few feet away.

It's rather unfortunate as I REALLY liked this heater. I think it would probably work fine for a very small room but not very useful for any medium or larger room. Back to the drawing board...

I first purchased one of these for the winter of 2023 and liked it so much, I have purchased a second one for the winter of 2024. It has a very strong fan on it and you can feel the heat even when you are several feet away from it. The unit is small, but it does produce a good amount of heat for the size of it. I have one in my bedroom, that has very large bay windows as well as vaulted ceilings. My bedroom gets very cold in the winter time and this little heater has done a great job to keep me warm. I love that It comes with the remote control and I do not need to get out of my bed to adjust the heat.

April 26/25 UPDATE: Unit #1 - 3 Winter Seasons now have passed. I have been using this heater every day that the temperature is about plus 15c or colder outside and it is still running strong. Great heat for my master bedroom that has big old bay windows and vaulted ceilings.

Unit #2 Update - 2 Winter Seasons now and same as above! This one we use in our main living room.

I am actually really impressed with these heaters for the cost of them. I did not expect them to last longer than a year or two. I still highly recommend these heaters for a small to midsize room.
