These sleeves worked as intended, they are a perfect fit without feeling as if your destroying the card. Although if I had to say anything negative about them it would be that it is very easy to make small dents on the sleeves. But as long as you carefully sleeve up your cards and don’t force it in, it shouldn’t damage the card or sleeve. Overall these we’re pretty good, they worked as I had expected and a recommend for collectors.

    So, you’re probably going to look at the echo chamber of praise for Dragon Shield and buy these without a second thought because it’s convenient. Surely thousands of 5-star ratings and a big marketing budget for influencer endorsement can’t be wrong, right? Ok, fine, do it.

    But take caution.

    First, do your own research online - a quick Google search for “Dragon Shield Perfect Fit Damage” will give you some material to consider, including examples of standard sized Pokemon Cards being damaged.

    Secondly, do your own testing. Before you go wrapping your most valuable cards in these things, try using them on some throwaways. Keep them inside for a few days - try stacking them - try shuffling them - try double-sleeving if you’re planning to do so. Then take them out and look for thin scratch marks and whitening along the borders of the cards.

    The most valuable cards in my vintage Pokemon and MTG collections (sleeved by the Standard size variant of this product) - as well as some newer Yu-Gi-Oh! single orders (sleeved by the Japanese size variant of this product) were ruined by these sleeves. It was a gut-wrenching experience, especially because of how widely endorsed this brand is.

    Take caution when using ANY brand of perfect-fit sleeves, as they’re often too tight for cards (even KMCs can cause scratch marks).

    These have to be the best inner sleeves in my opinions. They are perfect fit and once a card is in the sleeve it’s pretty much air tight . So for long term storage of Pokemon cards will help keep the humidity off in these card sleeves. The only issue really is if you use them to double sleeve an entire deck , it make it about twice as thick as the lip that you insert to complete the seal is another layer of thickness also. Other than that these sleeves are amazing.
