Verified PurchaseZunächst einmal muss ich dazu sagen, das ich damals noch sehr jung war, als ich den Film damals mit 15 oder 16 Jahren im Kino gesehen habe. Aufmerksam geworden war ich damals auf den Film als ich dazu einen Trailer auf einer Heft CD-Rom eines Computerspielmagazins entdeckt hatte. Der Trailer war grob verpixelt und das Bild lief langsamer als der Ton. Als ich damals mit meinem Vater und einem damaligen Bekannten mir den Film ansah haben wir natürlich viel gelacht. Aber wenn man die anderen Dracula-Filme noch nicht kannte dann war das quasi nur ein halber spaß. Ich hatte mich schon auf einen zweiten "Spaceballs" eingestellt und wurde aufgrund dieser Erwartungshaltung natürlich enttäuscht. Obwohl das wiederum auch verkehrt ist. Man hatte eben noch nicht das Wissen über die anderen ernsteren Vorgänger-Filme gehabt. Als ich mir den Film heute ansah war mir durch das sichten des Films als mittlerweile mitdreissigjähriger etwas klarer geworden und ich kann nun auch sagen, das der Film wirklich sehr unterhaltsam ist. Aber es gibt durchaus Gags die einfach zu albern und abgedreht sind, aufgrund des Alters des Films. Gut gefallen mir Stellen wie der Sarg auf hoher See im Schiff hin und her geschleudert wird oder wie Dracula die Treppe runter fällt und der Schatten Dracula's die Verletzung deutlich macht.
Zusammengefasst muss man sagen, das der Film vielleicht nicht unbedingt Oscars gewonnen hätte, aber zumindest ist der Film sehr unterhaltsam und witzig. Auch die Kulissen sind gelungen, sehr aufwendig umgesetzt.
