How to calibrate

1.Prepare 4 beakers separately containing pH4.00, pH6.86, pH9.18 solution and distilled water, and each solution is 250ml of 77℉.

2.Immerse the electrode into the PH4.00 buffer solution. Stir gently and wait for the value to stabilize.

3.Press and hold the CAL button for 5 seconds until the LCD screen displays pH 4.00.

4.Rinse the electrode with distilled water and blot dry. Repeat step 2, 3, 4 for the pH 6.86 and pH 9.18 solutions.

Re-calibrate, then retest.
What to Do with Inaccurate Calibration?

Calibrate in sequence: pH 4.00, pH 6.86, pH 9.18. If still inaccurate, immerse the probe in potassium chloride solution for 24 hours before re-calibrating.
How to Preventing the Glass Electrode from Breakage

Avoid testing strong acids/alkalis, do not touch it directly, and keep liquids below 50°C (122°F).
How to Store the pH Meter

Add a drop of potassium chloride solution to the sponge on the cap to keep the sensor active. Avoid testing strong acid/alkali.
When to Calibrate?

For infrequent use, calibrate biweekly. For high use or frequent testing of extreme pH liquids (above 10 or below 4), calibrate weekly.
