TLDR: Look at the photos this is spectacular! Nothing could have prepared me for this. To use it, you spray , tug and smooth with your hands and lay or hang flat. Personally, even just tugging makes a significant difference. For casual wear, this is fantastic. I will include some pictures. the wrinkled is before and the smooth is after. The photos were taken seconds apart and I assure you no iron or tricks were used aside from spray, tug, smooth. The shirt in question was also crumpled up for a few weeks before this test. I wish i knew about this sooner. I haven't tested it yet to see if this is good enough to pass off in a board room, but it will for sure work in a pinch. Five stars because you can't improve perfection.

    I hate folding clothes. Which means I don’t fold clothes, until I’m out of clothes. By that time I might have clean clothes at the bottom of my clean hamper for two weeks. Good luck with those wrinkles, right? And I have a coin dryer so tossing them back in adds up.

    So grateful I found this spray. Spray front of shirt, spray back, do a quick stretch of the sides/sleeves and fold, then smooth top and put away. Take it out to put on- no wrinkles. Plus it smells nice, and I’m extremely sensitive to scents so I’m amazed I can tolerate it much less enjoy it. I’ve pulled out wrinkled shirts I want to wear, spray a few times, give some tugs, throw over a chair to dry for a few minutes (or not), problem solved. I’ve even sprayed the clothes I’m already wearing and stretch a little, and it still helps.

    It’s not 100%, as in, it may not eliminate creases in your linen pants, but for basic fabric it makes a noticeable and immediate difference. I always carry a travel size spray bottle for trips. I keep meaning to put another travel size in my car, for the mornings when I don’t really see all the wrinkles (and fur, but that’s another story) until I’m already driving to school/work. Just a great product overall, I hope it’s around forever.

    I sincerely hope that Downy never stops making this product, as I rely on it for almost every garment I own. It works so well on most fabrics, like magic. Wrinkles fall out of my garments, and they smell fresh and feel soft. It does leave a visible impression on some fabrics, so spot test first if in doubt, but the visible residue does wash out of the fabric if it shows up at all. I’ve only had that problem with maybe 2-3 garments in the last, oh, 20 years of using this product. It has all but replaced an iron for me for almost all of my clothing, and I love the fine mist that comes out of this sprayer. This comes with one sprayer for 2 big bottles, and the bottles are packaged well for shipping, no leaking or loss of the product. If you want 2 bottles to use simultaneously, you will need to have a spray top that works already, but if you want a value sized bottle and a refill, that is what you receive. One of the wonders of the modern world in my opinion!

    Without this magical product, my husband would not be allowed out of the house with me. I joke—well, not really. When we first became a couple, he asked me at the last minute to iron his shirt before we left for a wedding. I made it clear in that moment that I would never iron his clothes—after that one time. So he had a problem to solve. He wanted to look good when we went out together, but he refused to learn to iron. That is when Downy Wrinkle Release came into our lives.

    I do have concerns about the chemical makeup of this product and whether it may cause harm to us or the environment. I definitely dislike single-use plastics, but sometimes a compromise is necessary. Now we can step out to a nice restaurant or go to a party with friends, and he doesn't look like he just pulled his shirt from the hamper. The wrinkles are mostly gone, and he smells a little fresher to boot.
