This product seems to be made of decent quality materials. The instructions are pretty clear, although I do wish it would differentiate between different types of boiled eggs. I cooked 6 eggs for 15 minutes, per the instructions (as indicated in the images provided) and while the outcome was to my perfection, I could see how other people who would want their eggs to be less/more cooked would probably want specific instructions to do so. Of course, you could just the amount of water and/or time to cook, but it would be nice for the instructions to have more options. The price also seems to be a little higher than I would prefer ($55.90 CAD at the time of this review).

    I originally got this just to steam eggs, and it does that well. It fits up to 12 at a time, and once you get used to how much water to add and how long you need to keep the eggs inside, the results are consistent. For context, we steamed 6 eggs for 18 minutes, and they were fully cooked. The plastic trays feel sturdy, and the lid seals well during steaming. There are small vents at the top corner, so you need to be careful not to get hot steam on your hands or face.

    What I didn’t expect was how often we’d use it for other things. So far, we’ve tried frozen sesame buns and broccoli, both turned out soft and heated through evenly. Next, we’re going to try frozen dumplings. It’s easy to set up and use, just plug it in, add water, and press the button. I do wish there was a built-in timer so I didn’t have to watch the clock on my own (I just set the timer on my phone), but that’s a small tradeoff.

    For a compact steamer, it’s handled more than I thought it would. For the price, it's a good, convenient addition to the kitchen.

    It may take some experimenting, but by adjusting the amount of water in the reservoir you can choose how well-done you would like your eggs. At the recommended 70 ml, the egg I got was cooked all the way through without a runny yolk.

    The device itself is just a steamer, with a heating element on the bottom that boils water. The cooker continues until it runs out of water, at which point it automatically stops. The egg continues to cook for a while after the steamer stops, so keep that in mind.

    There are no issues with the steam popping open the lid, as the lid has two small slits to release pressure. Each level is modular, so you can choose to have it cook only 6 eggs or 12.

    Overall it's just your average egg cooker. It doesn't have any glaring issues, or any noticeable virtues, but does cook eggs decently well.

    this egg cooker is really easy to use. just add some water and set the knob then it will do it's magic!

    i love how small and portable this machine is. i can literally put in inside my bag when travelling and use it for my breakfast.

    this breakfast machine can also do a lot of wonders like you can steam almost anything like some sweet corn or potatoes.

    cleaning it is also easy plus the fact that it is small means you can store too with such ease.

    this is a perfect gift for people who love eggs and breakfast just like me!

    The small breakfast machine comes in a box with three main pieces so once all are washed, it is ready for use. With two steam trays and an outer covering, the breakfast machine is pretty much a small steamer so you can cook things like eggs, small buns, dumplings, etc. The machine itself has a small basin to put water in with only one button to operate. To use is as simple as it can be as you pour water into the steamer, assemble the steam trays with your raw food on it, and then press the button while watching your food cook. The steam trays come in a pair so you stack them on top of each other to double the available food slots. Measuring at about seven inches in width and four inches in length, the steamer is small so you can only cook a small portion of food at a time. This makes it perfect for on the go occasions as you can easily pack and travel with the machine comfortably. It is also good for kid meals as you simply place your food on and let it cook before taking it out for eating. The outer cover is plastic but see through so you can monitor your food’s cooking level throughout. Once done, you clean the pieces like any other dish ware. Overall, the small breakfast machine is just a mini steamer and although it takes a bit for food to cook, the end result still comes out tasting good and thoroughly cooked.

    I ordered this small size double-layer egg cooker / steamer because I really liked the convenience it brings. Since our family eats a lot of quail eggs (produced by our own home raised quails), so far I found this little steamer extremely powerful and useful for the steaming purposes we need!

    This small size double-layer egg cooker/steamer is made in really nice quality. It is made with full body plastic and only slightly bigger than my palm size. When I fill the water in the base to the max level, this steamer could run about 20 - 25 mins and will auto shut off when the water dries up, which pretty convenience and safe. Aside from steaming the quail eggs, I have used it to steam potatoes, corns and Japanese pumpkin... everything worked out great!! Since the size is much smaller than regular size steamer, it saves electricity as well.

    I love it for the convenience. powerful steaming ability and small size for easy storage. Therefore, I do happily recommend it to everyone~ :)

    It’s really easy to operate and clean, plus it’s compact so it doesn’t take up much space.
