    I was looking for the Blu Ray version but couldn't find it. So I settled for this. My favourite Doctor Who is the 4th Doctor, by actor Tom Baker. Believe it or not, Matt Smith reminds me of how Tom Baker portrayed Doctor Who. And therefore Matt Smith's Doctor Who is my 2nd best version of the Character, bar none.

    Highly Recommended if you are OK with DVD. My 4K TV automatically upscales the video quality, so this disk looks OK. It's not Blu Ray, but it will have to do for now.

    While the DVD's had scratches they played alright, clear and sharp pictures in full screen. The case was poorly made as the spine that held the discs in holders was broken and the discs did not all stay in holders either. I had to chuck the holder and use disc envelopes to hold discs. Luckily the case held all the envelopes. I ordered other seasons of Dr. Who all with the same issues so I will copy this review to them also.

    I bought this one and the 2 other collections of Eccleston/Tennant and Capaldi. I'm absolutely amazed! At first I was having trouble with the quality since I was using a basic DVD player program to watch it but once you find better programs the quality becomes way better. Why I'm giving this a 5 star is because I was actually surprised. Every single episode that exists in the New Doctor Who are all included. I was surprised to find The Day of The Doctor even in there and even the specials from 2018 in the Capaldi collection. Well worth the price!

    Only bad thing is lots of people have the same problem. The Eccleston/Tennant collection does not come with the same casing color and the size also doesn't match which makes the boxes next to each other look kind of out of place.

    Highly recommended to fans!

Still more than worth it, matt smith is great, though I truthfully wasn’t sure at first (the monologue at the end of the 11th hour, his first episode, sold me). Big, giant, season long stories exploding with ideas. More complex, story wise, than what’s come before, but excellent nonetheless. I’m not a fan of jenna coleman, though. Just didn’t dig it, though it was as much her characterization that didn’t grab me as the story. All in all, great affordable set!
