With the 20 amp Safety Interlock Outlet with Corner Mount Limit Switch, you can enjoy added peace of mind knowing that appliances within your kitchen appliance garage are always powered off when the cabinet door is closed. This kit features one (1) 20 amp Safety Interlock Outlet and one (1) Corner Mount Limit Switch and is designed to enhance the safety of kitchen appliance garages. ETL-Listed for use in the US & Canada, not only will you rest easy knowing that small, heat-generating appliances like toaster ovens and coffee makers are always powered off whenever the cabinet door is closed, this product also satisfies the Canadian Electrical Code for high-voltage outlets within the cabinet. Installation is straightforward, requiring only a few basic tools. Simply swap the single gang junction box within your appliance garage with the Safety Interlock Outlet, then mount the Corner Mount Limit Switch behind the cabinet door, which will detect the door position and de-energize the appliance garage outlet (and all connected devices) whenever the cabinet door is closed.
