This is the most comfortable when compared to a cup, tampon, or pad. It is only leak proof for as long as it is not full ... 12 hours between changing is probably a myth unless you have super light periods. 4 to 8 hours is more realistic. I still prefer this over anything else, even with changing ever 6ish hours.

I find this so much easier to use and is so comfortable. I have the right anatomy so it doesn't leak at all and I can't feel it. It was super easy to remove as well with the little hook attachment. I’ve been using the classic Diva cup for over 2 years and have had no complaints. Loved how free i felt wearing it compared to pads and tampons, with no leaks whatsoever. I basically never wore pads anymore since it NEVER leaked, which was very cost efficient. The only down side was that i could not wear it during intercourse with my partner. That’s when i thought of making the switch to this flatter one.

I have tried this new cup for two cycles now and I just can’t stand it. Every single time i squat down or use the toilet, it self empties, leaving me no choice but to always wear a pad as well. I always make sure to tuck it in behind my pubic bone when inserting it, and always make sure it’s properly opened against my cervix. Nothing changes. It leaks all. the. time. I’m surprised the reviews are so good for this product. I’m not a beginner with menstrual cups, thought this new one would be easy to use, but it’s just horrible.

I will not be using this cup anymore and will go back to the classic diva cup. Not worth wearing this one, dealing with the leaks and spending extra money on pads.

After using diva cup for over 10 years, I had high hopes for the disc as well. This being the second month using it, I hate every time I need to empty it. The way it is built results in my fingers fully covered in discharge upon removal from my body, also because of the messiness the toilet seat and sometimes surrounding area are covered with drops of blood as well while I get the disc to the sink to clean .. I cannot imagine the discomfort of going through the process in an office washroom or another public place. With diva cup, it was easy discreet process, cannot wait to get another one to replace the disc version.

My biggest gripe with some of these period products is that you still have to use a panty liner which totally defeats the purpose of getting a reusable product. I tried the Nixit cup and I found it too messy and still had to use a panty liner. This one was perfect! Didn't spill, easier to remove thanks to the handle. Really great design. I didn't need a liner. Slam dunk.
