This pace is amazing. I was making cabbage rolls and I use the paste in the filling for inside the cabbage rolls. The paste provided a nice warm here without being too spicy and overwhelming. The cabbage rolls came out perfect.

    The chili paste itself is absolutely bold, flavourful, and exactly what you’d expect from a Calabrian import. I used it in a pasta sauce tonight. It adds that deep, spicy umami kick I love.

    BUT… when it arrived, it still had a HomeSense sticker on it for $5.99, even though I paid $19.99 on 鶹. That didn’t sit right with me. I get that reselling happens, but marking up the price that much without even removing the original label just feels lazy and a little dishonest.

    Bottom line:
    The paste? 10/10.
    The pricing transparency? Not so much.

    I’ll enjoy every spoonful but I’ll be watching where I buy it from next time.
